Four killed in northern California shooting rampage

The US jails more people than any nation in the Western democracies. It has more guns, more gun deaths and you see it as, "nothing to see". Thus, you've simply unwittingly compounded my point.

We could always deport the substantial and growing illegal immigrant prison population, and then actually guard our borders, end sanctuary cities and enforce our immigrations laws

That would put a big dent in our prison population

We could also make mass murder illegal, but Im pretty sure it already is.

I looked yesterday, and couldn't find the story. Sadly, these incidents have become the norm that only a significant number of casualties seems to raise the profile. How very sad. Something is deeply wrong in US society, in the name of personal freedoms.
If he had been a Muslim you would have done.

I though us misunderstood white boys kill way more than immigrants?
Border towns are the safest in the nation

Why don't you quote some non Kees news facts?
Just blab Chicago.
They are 12th? I the list of killings.
Why don't you whine about Memphis?
Look it up please

" Non Kees " ? Think before you reply please

Fox News=Bull****.....Another mass Murder committed by an angry white man armed with an ASSAULT RIFLE

Wait, those statistics are a " lie " ? Do you know what a " lie " is ?

Because its not factual data that challenges your bias. You cant just yell " Lie ! " and that makes it so.

You have to offer up evidence, and it would be nice if you did it in a intelligent way instead if this childish behaviour youve been exibiting up until now

Fox News=Bull****.....Another mass Murder committed by an angry white man armed with an ASSAULT RIFLE

Yes.

It also happened in the state with the most gun regulation in the nation. It happened in a state where "assault weapons" have been banned. It happened in a state that requires permits for purchasing handguns and long guns. It happened in a state that requires a BGC for ammunition purchases. It happened in a state that banned "large capacity magazines". It happened in a state that banned semi-auto rifles with detachable magazines. It happened in a state where there is a 10 day waiting period on the purchase of firearms. It happened in a state that requires the registration of all firearms purchased in the state. It happened in a state that requires a BGC for the private sale of firearms.

We've been telling you for years that criminals don't give a rats ass about such laws and the only effect of these laws is to disarm law abiding citizens who might otherwise be able to respond to a violent criminal act. Well, here you go, all those laws didn't stop a damned thing.

The guy - highly unstable - tried to stab his neighbor to death. The judge let him out on bail. So he went and finished what he started with his neighbor and then killed a few more too.

Tragic. But not surprising. And easily avoided.
No, actually, it isn't. It's extremely difficult to detect mass shooters in advance, which is why they are so seldom stopped in advance. To wit:

• Most mass shooters have mental health issues. However, the inverse is certainly not true -- the overwhelming majority of people with mental health issues do not shoot large numbers of people.

• Not many mass shooters were recently arrested for attempted murder. Even more telling is that only a tiny handful of people arrested for attempted murder turn out to be mass shooters.

• Lots of people purchase lots of guns and ammo. Some even buy body armor. Are you suggesting that anyone who purchases a certain number of firearms, or certain amounts of ammo, is planning a mass murder?

Oh, wait, I know what we can do. We can genetically engineer a few precogs and have them predict when crimes are going to happen! I'm sure that will work out great.

Hint: Jail is a good place for attempted murderers.
Do you want to burn the Constitution while you're at it?

We do not, and should not, equate an arrest with a conviction. Incarcerating someone based on an accusation is unjust. Even if in rare cases something awful happens because the accused individual is out on bail, it is still unjust and unconstitutional to declare that "anyone accused of attempted murder is ineligible for bail."

Actually the news has so far reported one semiautomatic rifle, two pistols and one other gun. So you are assuming the semiauto is an assault rifle? It very well could be, but it has not been reported as such.

Nice try though.

More Dodge and Deflect BULL****....Surprised you didn't blame a "Clinton" for this mass murder committed by an angry white

Where? Please feel free to link to it. Again none of the news reports I have seen say anything about any assault rifle.

It happened in a state next to a couple of states that have none of those laws. I mostly agree with your post, just pointing that out.

Still waiting for proof. I guess you were mistaken?

Great. Maybe CA should build a wall to keep all those Arizonans, Nevadans and Oregonians out.

I thought one report said he had fired over a hundred rounds. If true, I guess he could have reloaded 20 or so times. Or he had an assault rifle.

He had 3 other guns. So please again feel free to link to the proof? I have been following this story. Oh and you don't need an "assault rifle" to have large magazines, or fire many rounds. Hell ANY semi auto carbine can do that. At least know what you are talking about.

I completely support due process and probable cause (for search/privacy) before taking action but his POS and the one that shot up the church in TX last week had many many red flags and prior charges and with notification from family or friends, IMO could have or should have the probable cause needed to do a search of their homes, storage facilities, vehicles, etc.

In both cases, it's likely they would have found the firearms and confiscated them. In the case of the TX shooter, he would have been arrested as he was a prohibited person. Not sure of the status of the CA POS but he had a current restraining order.
