Green Beret killed by SEALs after he uncovered alleged theft

Two Navy SEALs being investigated over the death of an Army Green Beret in Mali in June are accused of killing him after he discovered they had been stealing, according to a report in the Daily Beast.

Naval Criminal Investigative Service spokesman Ed Buice confirmed to CNN last month that the NCIS was investigating whether two members of the Navy's elite SEAL Team Six killed Army Staff Sgt. Logan J. Melgar.​

I've just been watching the still sparse allegations on the news, along with confirmation of that NCIS investigation. I am horrified. I also hope it's not true. If it is, what an unbelievable betrayal.
 
At least one of the SEALs, if not both, claimed he was drunk when he died. Autopsy showed no drugs or alcohol in his system. Doesn't look good.
 
This has the potential to be a real ****storm. But the bandaid hurts worse if you pull it off slowly. They need to investigate fully and let the chips fall.
 
These Seal Team guys sound like a couple of thugs...Ripping off the US government and killing a Green Beret...They need to fry
 
I think if this comes out as true, the military will execute them. It's looking really bad. And the military surprisingly, executes very rarely.

Yeah, it is almost unheard of nowadays but if anything would merit it I would think this would. If the allegations are true, of course.
