"I never said these women should be prosecuted on the face of what they've done," he said. "If these women were, for 40 years, had protected a sexual predator, they should be accomplices to whatever crimes have been committed. If you know somebody, murdered somebody 40 years ago and you didn't say anything about it, you should be an accomplice to that crime. You have helped cover it up. You have helped keep it from going."



So they should be prosecuted only if they continue to say he is guilty.

Yes - according to Republican apologists, it is important to prosecute adults who were molested as children because they didn't speak out soon enough. Gotta say that the republicans are getting downright sick in their justification of pedophilia. Now it's time to protect the real victim - the pedophile - and put the women he molested behind bars as accomplices to the crime committed against them. Also, apparently if a murder victim does not speak out about their killer then they too are accomplices.
