WSJ: Mueller probes Flynn role in plot to deliver cleric to Turkey

James Woolsey is fake news now according to our conservative friends.:lamo

You'll just have to wait for the indictments on Flynn to find out the scoop. That's gonna be a damn good day.
Yep.

Violating the Logan act, violating the FARA statute, fraudulently hiding income from Turkey and Russia, lying to the FBI, falsifying his SF-86 forms, conspiring with KLS to obtain hacked material, and now possible conspiracy to commit kidnapping.

Is there anything this guy does that is lawful?

Flynn and Son are the neck of the trump scandal and Mueller is squeezing harder every day ...

According to whom ? The article states that CNNs sources could not provide details because they didnt actually attend the meeting.

A alledged meeting over a kidnapping scheme that never happened is just more CNN fake news

No, I think its more fake reality from Trump* apologists / supporters. Perhaps you would rather wait for the indictment. We get it.

Meanwhile, why not provide us all with a list of so-called CNN fake news that actually turned out to be substantially false. While we are waiting for that list, I just write novel to fill the time.

More " sources ".... What exactly is the charge for a kidnapping plot that never happened ?

Conspiracy to commit ..... would be the likely charge, you know, similar to the type of charge you would get if you solicited a hit man to knock off your boss (... if it did not actually happen). Flynn should take comfort that it will come with less jail time than had he actually gone through with it....

Of course, he is likely to be hit with six to ten other charges as well.

You can tell CNN and WaPo dont think too highly of their readers.

When they run crap like this they're relying on the gullibility of a group of people that in knee jerk fasion will spread this crap through social media with added proejections of prosecution and decades behind bars

When it all falls apart you people just move onto the next fake news story.

Manaforts a great example. He was going to be the guy that brought down the Trump administration, until he wasnt.
The timeline of Muellers indictment didnt line up with the conspiracy theories, so you moved onto Flynn

"Conspiracy", "intent" - perhaps you've heard of them?

Oh I've definately heard of them. Since the election the Left has been obsessed wih a assortment of conspiracy driven nonsense. They literally wont stop talking about t.

Apparently the stress of Hillary losing the election was intense enough to create mass hsyteria among her supporters and the media.

Instead of accepting the loss with the grace and dignity of a mature emotionally stable adults, they raged like children and put all their hopes in " unamed sources " and on a ridiculous and manufactured conspiracy theory that would be right at home as a topic on Coast to Coast

It was old 6 months ago, now its just sad

Actually, as you think that CRIMINAL conspiracy has anything to do with conspiracy theories - the exact equivalence you just stated - then you really haven't heard of criminal 'conspiracy', or at least, don't understand it.

Just as many Dems and establishment figures missed the groundswell of populism that propelled Trump into office, I believe your statements I've bolded indicate you and quite a few others that espouse similar veins, are missing the current growing groundswell against the man, his actions, and his policies. This can be seen in the recent Tuesday's elections, where the Dem sweep was fueled by record off-year turnout with nearly 40% claiming their vote was a direct response against Trump over any other factor.

In relation to the 2016 Presidential election turnout, Tuesday's Republican turnout was a very reasonable -40%. That's actually quite good for an off-year, and about as high as usual for the Repubs. But the Dem turnout was -10%, which is startling! They came out nearly as strongly in the off-year as in the Presidential! That is unheard of, especially for the party that usually trails the GOP in off-year turnout.

Can I claim the enthusiasm gap will remain as one-sided and large across the nation, in 2018. No, of course not. But it might. And it definitely happened in VA, NJ, and NYC.

So you can lead yourself astray, by attempting to couch this as the "sour grapes" of the supporters of a losing candidate. But it is not. It is a real fundamental difference of agreement with Trump. You may consider taking Trump's detractors at their word, rather than dismissing them as sore losers. I can say this from direct experience, as I will be voting against him, and I assure you I can't stand Hillary and didn't want her in office, and haven't had any Dem affiliation for nearly two decades.

Exactly. "Conspiracy" in itself, does not imply "fake".

There's many true conspiracies. Ask any RICO defendant.
