nope:confused:
How did you even come to such an illogical assumption?

Because you posted this thread only because the person changed their gender.

If this had been a real woman, you wouldn't have posted this.

1.) Because you posted this thread only because the person changed their gender.
2.) If this had been a real woman, you wouldn't have posted this.

1.) 100% false i posted this because its new territory and an example of the american people over coming bigotry, just like the news stories on it. Like I said your assumption is VERY illogical based on my post.
2.) also false, see above, if it fit that the criteria above i would have posted it regardless

Not really. Roem was elected in a district that solidly went for Hillary Clinton, running against an old incumbent who was intentionally rude and inflammatory. As one would expect, in the age of morally correct orthodoxy in a HC district - well, the result should have been a foregone conclusion.

It so happens that Roem may be a nice person, as well as an "artistic" personae (a heavy metal singer), but he/she won for reasons unrelated to policy competency, skills, or knowledge. He/she won because of sympathy and self-enforced "gender view correctness" .

Once the novelty wears off, he/she will just be another footnote in the history of the moral disintegration of the Republic, another short story of the American satyricon.

If she's never boasted about grabbing other people's genitalia without their permission, then she can only be a step up.

"Moral disintegration of the Republic"?

What is your moral guide if I may ask?

More on point would be to ask how the celebration of “the Ugly Duckling" (which will never be anything more than a medically mangled duck trying to mimic a swan) should represent a success of the duck species? And what virtue is there in members of a society hiding their deep discomfort and antipathy of such anatomical Dr. Frankenstein creatures, the sort that in a prior eras ended up behind the carnival freak shows?

The social capital and harmony of society is inversely correlated with cultural/social cognitive dissonance; for society to repress what we naturally feel invariably ends in hypocrisy and social repression of the norm. (e.g. Victorianism).

In this case, the patronizing pretense and hypocrisy of supporters of TG'ism is palpable. Truth be told, not one in hundred straight males sense that such a male-to-female creature are female; and even fewer straights would find him/her less than repulsive as a romantic-sexual interest. Such rejection may be "un-PC" but it is totally natural, as natural as a sheep that rejects a goat as a prospective mate.

A healthy and moral society must be honest; a surgically mangled goat is not a sheep. And those who, by nature, cannot be "normal" should be pitied, not celebrated.

And a real man or woman doesn't act like a p****, maxparrish. I mean, I have to be honest with you.

Your post illustrates why the 'Chief Homophobe' got beat. His own family was embarrassed by him. The 'Chief Homophobe', his term, would have trashed Danica if he had won.

Danica refused to trash the 'Chief Homophobe', saying that's not what you do to one of your constituents, which the 'Chief Homophobe' now is ...

What I love is Danica ran on transportation.

Awesome!!!
Good for her!!!

don't know much about either candidate but if the incumbent introduced a bathroom bill, refused to debate and referred to Danica using male pronouns its seems like the moron lost the race for himself and is a complete douche LOL

Anyway, like i was saying good for her and it makes me proud that many people in this country are capable or acting in a nonbigoted way. There is still to much hate and bigotry but we have come a long way and things will continue to get better.

the asshole she beat was a disgrace. Good riddance

Salt Lake City has had an openly transgender mayor for over a year now. Doesn't that count as the first "openly transgender state law maker?"

1) its she not he/she

2) from what I understand from a good college friend who is a GOP county chairwoman in a VA county, Danica is a policy wonk who really understood the issues-especially road/transportation issues which was really important to the voters in her district

3) the guy she beat was a rude nasty asshole who made snide comments about her sexuality which is really lame

mayors are generally seen as local not state wide politicians.

Seems thats the case . . like I said I admit i dont really know either of them but just the 10 or so articles I read if they are accurate he was a complete douche and waste. A person like him should NEVER find themselves in office but unfortunately its not uncommon.

Im sorry what am i missing and what are you asking? how is a city mayor a state law maker? Is a mayor part of the state legislation in Utah?

thats what I read to, she hit hard on the issues and he wouldnt even debate her, just bashed her and called her male pronouns, like I said he help her win and him lose by being a douche.

That makes sense. In the last election a transgender named Misty Snow ran against Sen. Mike Lee.

I think we'll start seeing a lot more LGTB's and women..as well as doctors and scientists running for office. It would've been nice if Dr. Kathy Allen had won.

they should be elected or not be elected based on their positions on the issues, their work ethics rather than what they wear from the waste down

Mayors are lawmakers, too. But apparently the qualifier is they have to be "state" lawmakers.

I think women, healthcare and science are pretty important issues.

ahhhh sort of but not really, low level laws maybe. . like ordinances but they are not true "lawmakers". They cater to true lawmakers and council they can implement and hope to sway lawmakers to do their bidding. But yes the qualifier is STATE lawmaker.

I have no problem with you being honest, it serves to illuminate the nature of a sacred cow. Real biological men and women are not in dispute, it is the culture left orthodoxy's attempt to foist off ersatz surgerized males (in particular) as authentic and virtuous that is ludicrous. The left giddiness over a dysphoric dresser obtaining the approval of 54 percent of his/her district is the revealing flip side of offense at candid "pricks"; transgenderism is just the latest identity "group" demanding that the overwhelming majority provide their authenticity via virtue posturing.

There is no reason to go out of one's way to insult a TG in ordinary encounters, but there is also no reason to think of the biological blunder as a "normal female". It is not.

Obama was, as President, a national lawmaker. Because of his color, being the first black and 44th white President, did not qualify him to many people. Just because of his color.

This is really wordy. We get it. We just think it could be less wordy. Anywho, welcome to the forum. Make yourself at home, try the empanadas.

Oops. You messed up. You contradicted your own argument. Your blunder.

I doubt that. I think most people think of Obama as the first black president.

You are correct, he lost because of his brash honesty and open dislike of a he/she hybrid. And yes, apparently his family was embarrassed by him.
