WE'RE NUMBER ONE! WE'RE NUMBER ONE! WE'RE THE ONLY ONE!!!!

Once upon a time, there were three nations which had not signed the Paris climate agreement, also known as the Paris Accords, Nicaragua, Syria and the United States - now, there's only one nation that is not a party to the Accords.

Paris climate accord: Syria 'to sign up', isolating US

The Paris deal unites the world's nations in tackling climate change. Syria and Nicaragua were the only nations outside the deal when it was agreed in 2015. Nicaragua signed in October.

In June the US said it would withdraw, but the rules of the agreement state that this cannot be done until 2020.

Meanwhile, French officials said US President Donald Trump had not been invited to December's climate summit in Paris.

More than 100 countries have been invited to the summit, which is aimed at "building coalitions" with finance and business to further the accord, an aide to French President Emmanuel Macron said.

Looks like Donald will have more time in December, to spend on the links at his Florida golf clubs, Trump International Golf Club West Palm Beach - sometimes called the Mar-a-Lago Golf Club, though it is actually a couple miles from the Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach; Trump National Golf Club Jupiter and Trump National Doral Golf Club

Does the gas they use on their citizens comply with the accord?

I am not sure I believe it has been very helpful to terminate it in place of remaining in and pushing for more rational procedures than the EU chooses. After all, the US tends to adhere to agreements, while many of the large EU members tend to break them continuously.

With out money from the United States the so called accord is doomed!

So glad to hear that Syria signed up! Once they finish killing anyone who opposes
them they can work on man made global warming.

Does the fentanyl we use on our citizens comply? Probably not, probably why we stay out of it.

You might want to think about that off the wall comparison. Even the most biased kind of person must be able to see how bizarrely false it equivocation was.

I'm most interested in the "forming coalitions" part of this. I wonder if the United States will miss out on anything big?

It’s to be seen, how the thing plays out. At present there are quite a few politicians around the world that are saying rather hateful things against the US and infecting their populations hearts and minds with anger, distrust and hate for the US.

And yet the US's CO2 emissions are falling even without spending all the money demanded by the accord.

A big bill.

A big bill.

A "big bill" that is non-existent but IF it did occur, the US would have problems paying as a result of the proposed tax cuts.

I fail to understand why so many on the right refuse to accept the lessons of history but then that is probably why I am not an American conservative - or a libertarian. Eight years of studying history taught me a little bit of how things actually work and not how I wished they worked at times.

The US (actually Trump) hasn't been invited to Paris for the next meeting...

The federal government is actively ignoring a man who is literally funneling kilos of heroin and fentanyl into the US. He has already been arrested before on felony drug charges and got caught with kilos while on parole. The only thing they took was a few grand and a Harley motorcycle. That was years ago and he's still a free man laundering millions through a high profile record company.

Detroit Empire: Feds say rap mogul is heroin kingpin

It's not a false equivalency at all, you just don't know jack.

The federal government is actively killing millions of people to fuel a profitable drug war and keep the impoverished class weak and vulnerable.

Plesse, I anxiously await your hand waving.
