Tragic...but thats a slow week in Chicago.

Look...no one is minimizing the shootings. They are tragic. And there literally is no way to prevent vile evil people from killing lots of people if that become their intent-regardless of means. YOU know that.

I don't really care why people don't care that blacks kill blacks. This would be your need to create a diversion for yourself. The fact of the matter is that our bad gun culture has created this environment of gang designed "warfare," the cowardice default of using a gun instead of a fist, and the mass shooter.

The guns in Chicago are purchased across state lines in the Great state of Indiana where they allow gun shows with citizens set up who are not subjected to doing background checks on people buying guns from them. How about this all gun purchasers who buy guns should have a background check. If a citizen sells a gun and sets up in the show the promoter shall have a area designated for consumer background checks where they get a pass that allows them to purchase guns at the show. This ain't rocket science. Gun shops routinely sell a bunch of guns to a person who then turns around and sells them at a gun show with no background checks required. How about this....require the purchaser to keep the weapons a minimum of one year.....before selling them

I don't care if you or anybody else minimizes any shooting. But pretending that this is just life in America, as we wrap it all into some absurd political cry that amounts to nothing, defies the American history of this. The fact that these shootings are and have been worsening over recent times, tells us that this was created. Decades ago, this was not something that we even needed to prevent or even face. We have come a long way from the John Dillingers capturing headlines, to shrugging at something like a preschool, Vegas, or church massacre that has become routine acceptance.

Try buying a bunch of fertilizer after Oklahoma City and see what happens today. Moreover, the murder rate in the United States is 5 times what it is in China.

I am gun owner. I own multiple guns, but this notion that all the guns we have in circulation doesn't result in a much higher murder rate is nonsense.

I'm not pretending it is anything. It IS life in America. In this wonderful country...a country I'm assuming you served in and defended based on your gun culture picture in your signature block...we have this thing called a Constitution and we are not in the practice of denying Constitutional rights to 200 million law abiding citizens because the actions of a few vile douchebags. We learned our lesson about banning alcohol sales...that didnt work. We dont prevent people from having cell phones, or cars, even though 40,000 people did from car wrecks in 2016 alone.

And I dont think we should shrug at incidents like this. I think we should study them and see what lessons we can learn to try to make things better. Unfortunately..every time there is a tragic incident, mindless leftist ****bags crawl out from under their rocks clamoring for stupid gun control laws they KNOW wont prevent anything. And so off we go. Once again.

We are not talking about farmers. The FBI started monitoring large fertilizer purchases for non-agricultural use after the Oklahoma bombing. Why do you think terrorists don't use fertilizer truck bombs anymore in the United States?
