Obviously more women in government isn't automatically going to result in those politicians sharing my political beliefs...*cough*BetsyDevos*cough*...but I don't think there's any question that policies affecting women would be more balanced if women were more equally represented.

The same thing happened after the Clarence Thomas hearings. Some won their elections; others didnt.

I personally dont see it making much of a difference, there is more variation within groups than there are between them. This is why the entire philosphy behind identity politics is rather pointless. Having said that, I do like the idea of more women in places of power. Hopefully sometime soon they can take over as the majority so we can finally end this patriarchy nonsense.

Women taking over as the majority (power, they already are in population), will be of no consequence politically, as in nothing will change.

The concept of intersectionality and "power privilege" however will be destroyed at least in regards to gender, so the new evil in the world will be the cis white female rather than male. I look forward to that since I am sick of hearing about it. Which was the point of my post.
