Another Trump decree bites the dust.

Judge blocks enforcement of Trump's transgender military ban

A federal judge on Monday partially blocked enforcement of key provisions of President Donald Trump's memorandum banning transgender people serving in the military.

Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly blocked provisions of the memorandum concerning the enlistment and retention of transgender military service members, holding that the plaintiffs "have established that they will be injured by these directives, due both to the inherent inequality they impose, and the risk of discharge and denial of accession that they engender. "

Compromising military integrity for social engineering. That's the Lefty way.

Tell me about your apparent vast knowledge of military integrity.

That was the exact same line used to keep gay men like myself from serving openly in the military, guess what, in never did effect unit integrity. Got any more knuckle dragging theories?

I believe that you have misused the term "Bites the Dust".

Completely right decision, IMO. Another defeat of the Trump, hate-you-be-different-from-me policy.

8 minutes?

Give the guy at least 30...

I really dont see the problem, if a transgender girl wants to fight for her country and pick up a weapon, then whats the big deal??

How has it compromised military integrity. You guys were wrong about gays serving in the military as well.

We knew this would be rolled back and held up in ways because its simply illogical. It treats people as lessers based on sex and it hurts enlisted personal. Its disgusting to punish those that have already stepped up to serve their country even willing to die for it.

It's the cost of maintaining that change that's the issue here. This is a point that was identified by one of our own members here who is openly TG. Being TG is NOT cheap and the gov't shouldn't be paying for it. Being homosexual is free, so who really cares...?

So much winning....

Ya my homosexuality did not cost me a dime. How dare those TG suck on Trumps tit. Would you have had an issue back in the day when the DoD admitted women in the military, or would you have bitched about having to install female facilities? It dont matter, the Court has already struck Trumps ban down. Good !! Trump is slowly discovering the courts checks and balances, dont ya just luv seperation of powers?

Two funnies...

1) It's the same sort of argument that refused to integrate "races" too.

The argument against gays never made much sense. Homosexuals had worn uniforms long before it became a discussion topic. Don't Ask Don't Tell did nobody any favors. Before this, plenty of homosexuals (not all of course) were shrugged off, because leaders simply did not want to deal with it. After Don't Ask Don't Tell it became the law to have to address it. "Don't Ask" was easy enough, because it was more or less the routine policy. Just leave it. But now, "Don't Tell" forced administrative and judicial action. A lot of homosexual soldiers came out of the closet in 2003 and 2004. The military had largely written the whole thing off before Obama sought to get rid of it. This is why when the judge ruled that it was unconstitutional, the Pentagon welcomed it and passed down word. Obama had to actually tell the Pentagon that DADT was still in affect until Congress reversed it. The concern about how "opening" the subject may harm unit cohesiveness was legit enough. I was concerned, but it proved not to be an issue at all. It was an unnecessary concern.

It's the same with the transgendered. They have been in uniform for quite a while. But now it has become an issue?

2) It's the civilian population that seems to have greater difficulties with these topics than the military itself.

This is largely due to people's own discomforts. Racist America decided that white and black soldiers won't work. Bigoted America decided that homosexuals and transgenders won't work. Always it's about their ideas of "social engineering." In the mean time, it has always been the military that has led the way because the military obeys policies and orders. Discipline is why the military can force itself to mix "races" and move on. While America continued to place black people in the back of the bus, the military promoted the first black general in 1940 (Benjamin O. Davis). While America was insisting that a woman's proper place was in the kitchen or the secretarial pool. the military promoted the first female general on 1970 (Anna Mae Hays). And today "concerned" Americans worry about social engineering in terms of homosexuals and transgenders? I find this funny. The military will be fine and once again prove that it leads the way for our society.

Like I stated, it's mostly the civilian population that can't get over their own racisms and bigotries and they always seem to want the military to reflect their personal beliefs.

See your problem is you would want America to be twisted and contorted so that REAL Americans are relegated to Concentration Camps. Oh, BTW, hope you are happy, the NAMBLA crowd are crowing for their "rights" also, and I bet you support them 100% Sexual deviancy is just wrong on all fronts.

...the NAMBLA crowd are crowing for their "rights" also...

Good god, I didn't know such a thing existed! Why don't they just wait outside for them to hold meetings and just arrest them all?

Liberals want these sick perverts mainstreamed. After all, it's just another expression of "love" consent or no.

LMAO the fastest way not to be taken seriously by any honest, educated and objective posters is to bring up bestiality and or child rape during talks of sexual orientation and gender issues.

It's the next logical step for these degenerates. Once homosexual "rights" are granted, the floodgates open up to all sorts of other sexual perversion to be mainstreamed.

You have a fantastic day with your hatefull thoughts. NAMBLA ? Is that a secret club for Republicans who crow about family values? Later sweet cheeks! !

Big question, does this mean that a future president will be unable to decide whom can enlist in the military or remain in the military? Today it is transgendered. What if it was those in plural marriages? What if it was a president saying that those with racist beliefs cannot enlist? Can a president determine who can serve in the military?

You deny this is happening right now, even though we warned you that this WOULD happen?

I did not get the message, but then again, I dont watch Fox News so probably missed it.

Later sweet cheeks! !
