You may continue the "nothing to see here" mantra but remember, Al Capone was a notorious gangster and killer. What crime did he die in prison serving? Tax evasion.

Manafort knows where the skeletons are buried, as he was heavily into money laundering with Russia, the Ukraine and the shady banks. Manafort also had some suspicious real estate holdings in Brooklyn, which means he can be subject to the NY AG charging him too. The question is whether he'll turn states evidence against Trump and his conspirators associates.

And Trump is silent! Twitter Bots are working overdrive today. John Podesta is trending under Manafort even though Podesta isn't being charged with anything. RW wants it to be so though.

Looks like I was wrong about Flynn, but do these charges seem a little lackluster to anyone else? And if Manafort surrenders does that mean he has a deal w/FBI?

NBC just reported that different sources have told them the charges against Manafort are tax related and had to be filed now because of a statute of limitations situation.

Apparently, other charges Russian and campaign related could well be filed down the road when Mueller is more ready to do so........ but this action had to taken now to beat the clock.
