Its worse when it comes from the party of "family values".

haven't we been told over and over again by conservatives that only THEY represent family values? After all Democrats are the party of abortion, illegal immigration and Godlessness.

I think this is one of those things that is "worse when committed", regardless of one's professed political ideology.

Republicans have always made it a partisan issue. Where have you been?

I wouldn't call that worse. It's bad no matter who does it. Now we all give a snark or two for Republicans on things like when a Republican talks on an "Anti-Gay" platform and then later they are caught in a homosexual act. But things like Sexual Assault are bad no matter who's doing it and I don't think it's worse when the right does it versus the left.

I matters not who does it but, it does seems that if you ever looked at a woman wrong, you are a suspected criminal.

Sexual assault and/or harassment has been redefined and the lines blurred.

No, its just the hypocrisy of the right that bothers me.

The lines have not been blurred and if you had ever taken any type of sexual harassment training it's quite clear what is and is not allowed. Sorry you are not able to smack women co-workers on the butt anymore while you are at work or continually hit on them.

Putting your penis on a women's shoulder is not, "looking at them wrong," unless of course you are naked.

I've worked for myself most for myself most of my life so, I have to use good judgement and Christian values to guide myself rather than being trained as an ignorant corporate monkey.

Especially the one between accused/guilty.

No it's not. However, where have these women been? Why have they waited so long to say something?

I'll take a corporate "monkey" over a bigoted fake Christian any day of the week.

Halperin is not a liberal.

Saying that sexual assault and harassment has been redefined is simply not true. Trivializing it by saying that looking at someone wrong is just silly. Most people know what is inappropriate behavior. It's not just looking but how one looks at another and the intent of those looks. Assault and harassment is using one's power against one in a weaker or vulnerable position.

Heeeeere we go. Blame the victim time.

Terry Crews explains why sexual assault survivors don't come forward

Crews said he talked to people who worked with the executive. The next day, the executive called Crews to apologize, "but never really explained why he did what he did," Crews said.

"I decided not to take it further because I didn't want to be ostracized -- par for the course when the predator has power and influence," he said on Twitter.

"I let it go. And I understand why many women who this happens to let it go," he continued, laying out the potential scenario:

"Who's going to believe you? Few.
"What are the repercussions? Many.
"Do you want 2 work again? Yes.
"Are you prepared to be ostracized? No."

They were oppressed, but now Hollywood has shown them the way, they can talk now!

We dont know for a fact that any of them who claim to be victims are.

And if they be victims what was done to them?

Did a guy look at them wrong?

Did he ask for a date?

Maybe a donut?

Gave him the boot rather fast. Which is good. I bet there are soooo many producers, directors and famous/powerful people that are quaking in their boots and praying this spotlight doesn't come their way. I'd even be willing to bet there is all sorts of hush money being doled out about right now all over work places.

I think some big name actors (note the men) are complicit. Based on how few have come forward and how they uncomfortable during certain interviews talking about this subject. I think it's clear that this is just the tip of the iceberg.
