No, there isn't. There was absolutely no justification for firing a shot at them, even with hitting their car with a baton.

If they didnt drive off first. I imagine them being in there car and someone comes up and hits their window witha batoon causing an immediate threat to their life. Then fireing their gun at them would be justified as self defense. When they drove away the kinda gave up their self defense arguement.

Ass beatings can be dangerous and sometime fatal, a good slug in the chest is more of a sure thing that you dont get hurt.

Violence at these demonstrations is wrong. The Police should charge those involved. The DA should go for significant fines and short jail time.
Over 1/2 a million for security. Then penalize those who break the laws.

I am sure that there will be people here who will justify this attempted murder based on the aggressor's car being hit by a baton. Those who do are saying that attempted murder is okay. They choose not to understand that two wrongs don't make a right. They choose not to understand that these white supremacists were the real danger here. They also choose not to understand that the shooter, Tenbrink, was looking for a fight:
