Trump: "I HATE EVERYONE IN THE WHITE HOUSE!"

I started out as Trump not being my first pick but I incrimentally got there. One reason why was how he would have closed door meetings with people against him that would leave the meting supporting him. If this narrative being peddled is true I find it a bit surprising. The impression I had gotten was that he was much different in private than in public. A charismatic guy who could sell ice cube to Eskimos

Or he has alien pods in there.

You mean we haven’t been suffering already? Oh great. You mean it gets worse??
Oh, absolutely.

Trump hasn't actually tried to censor news/reporters/journalists using the federal government agencies, yet....I think?

And we haven't nuked anyone yet.

Suffering physically? no. Not really actually.

Well except Las Vegas, California, Puerto Rico, Texas, Florida, and our diplomatic allies. (not saying it's Trump's fault).

This makes zero sense in the context of this thread unless you're saying that's all Trump's fault. Guys got lots of flaws but I really doubt he started the fires.

But... but... but.......

Some football players are not standing for the anthem! Seriously. How can we deal with issues like Puerto Rico being demolished, people dying, Korea, mass-killings, education, infrastructure or healthcare or California burning, if the football players won't stand up and sing the anthem? How? tell me.
Acknowledging that you're being sarcastic, I shall nevertheless answer seriously.

By realizing that those football players are doing that thing to protest injustice, further realizing that injustice should be anathema to any american, and then realizing that you need to be kneeling with those players to honor the true meaning of our nation and the flag representing it.

Edit: tl;dr Being mad at those players is the ACTUAL disrespect for our flag, anthem, and troops - nay, the core of what it means to be american.

I'm saying that if he hates everyone now, more suffering will come and it will be worse than all those events combined!

Considering how many people have come and gone It does not sound like a happy place.

You can tell by the look on Sarah Huckabee Sanders' face. At any time.

She has the face of every waitress I had when I was a teenager and said, "C'mon, do you really need to see my id? Check out this 5 o'clock shadow."

Yes, this is really common spin, but also complete BS at the same time. It also puzzles me at who seems miffed at not being considered "patriotic" given how often I've been told patriotism is actually a bad thing.

Patriotism is not a bad thing by itself.

It is when patriotism is taken to jingoistic extremes that things start to go wrong.

Sometimes you gotta change the pics around until they all fit together

LOL!!

Vanity Fair and "According to two sources familiar with the conversation" = Fake News.

Given the rapid turnover of the WH staff and the recent feuds with Tillerson and Corker, I think the evidence is stark. The white house is a stinky dumpster fire with Trump as the flashpoint.

I don't see it as spin, I see it as truth - it seems obvious to me that protesting injustice is an entirely positive thing to do.

I realize that there are claims the protest was misdirected, or actually in support of violence, but I have yet to see any evidence that this is the case. Indeed, everything I have seen indicates the opposite.

As I view it, there is no greater acknowledgement of the core values that I consider "american" than to protest injustice, and since the form this protest took (kneeling during anthem) was specifically decided upon due to conversation with a former soldier, I don't think you can reasonably claim that it was intended to, or even does, disrespect the sacrifices made to defend the symbols which it supposedly disrespected.

Please Mr. President Heed the words of Master Yoda: Fear is the path to the dark side…fear leads to anger…anger leads to hate…hate leads to suffering.

I hope we are not at the suffering stage of the Dark Side

Somehow I just can't find it in me to worry about the president venting to a close advisor. In fact, I think you would be hard pressed to find a president who hasn't done just that.

Stephen Colbert described her face as, "Evangelical mom who just found a joint in her son's bible".

Fake news or not, these are not the words of rational and responsible adult. They are the words of a recalcitrant pre teen with narcissism.

It would be great entertainment, but the whole world is watching....and growing more and more concerned. We have the pumpkin version of Kim Jung-un along with the horsepower to blow up the planet because he didn't get the right color slippers

See I tried with you but it's clear your intellectually dishonest. Happy posting with your hit and run nonsense
