Trump mocks ‘Liddle’ Bob Corker, says senator was ‘made to sound a fool’

Our President is such a child.
disappointed.gif

And add Trump also being a self-will-run-riot narcissist, megalomaniac, passive-aggressive authoritarian.

If if the child grows up, he'll still be all of the above.

Trump doesn't realize that, as Chairman of the Budget Committee, Corker has the power to totally screw him. He's burning yet another bridge to his agenda.

As I keep saying, everyday he has a little less pull on Capital Hill everytime he speaks. Keep talking Donny, your going to talk your way out of the wall, and tax cuts. The guy is his own worst enemy. When this is all over and done with, I will look forward to the tell all books from his staff. You have not seen nothing yet.

It's possible that after Tillerson goes, he won't be replaced. Who would want a job where the boss sabotages you regularly in front of the whole world? After getting turned down a few times Trump could decide he doesn't need a SoS at all.

Jareds next job, SoS ?

The only options for a replacement is a worthless toady or a general. That's pretty much it.

I hadn't thought of the possibility of a general. That would be the best option. Generals seem to be the only people can get through to him, even if he does know more ISIS than they do.

I was ready to give him a chance when he was first elected because I thought for sure he would have some sort of reverence for it but he's proven time and time again he just doesn't.

I think it's become clear that he just doesn't give a flying f' about any of it. People want to talk about football players kneeling, but what about the total lack of respect and decorum that Trump has shown the office of President?

What's the next clever insult he'll come up with? Doodyface McCain?

It's utterly embarrassing to have this as a President.

Trust me, nobody is "getting through" to him. At best, the generals seem most equipped to act as a buffer between Trump's worst impulses and the impact he has outside the White House.

Or like Bannon yesterday saying "if Corker had any honor or decency he should step down!". I mean, if Trump had any of those things we wouldn't be in this situation to begin with. It's madness.

Great point that would fly right over his supporters heads.

Fat Trump has no room to talk about others physical attributes.

Lol. Most Americans would be shocked if they saw Trump before his hairdressers worked their magic on his 'hair' each morning.

With "magic" like that, I have a new respect for baldness.

They think the office has already been hopelessly defiled by Obama being in it for eight years, so any further defilement is moot.

This isn't exactly me cracking the DaVinci Code here. This is what trump followers say.

No, I get it. They love to blame their lack of integrity on Obama.

"But Obama...but Clinton...but...but...but". And I thought they were trying to sell us on them being better, not more of the same.

lol

I think it's clear at this point that most Trump supporters don't even pay attention to this stuff. They either don't care, or don't know how to use twitter. I suspect a large majority of his twitter followers are fake Russian bots, and the hollywood types/media just to see what he says/does. 10% are trolls/trump supporters.

Trump is merely proving that Corker was right, the WH is an adult day care center. The only problem is the inmate has his finger on the nuke button.

Any yet they claim they're not racists.

I wouldn't be surprised. Tillerson is on an empty ship and Trump has said that he does not plan to hire anyone. I think he doesn't know Tillerson needs a staff and he doesn't care. He is so in over his head it becomes scarier everyday.

I read Trump's Facebook page and I am convinced that many are fake. When one sees a post that says: "thank God you are our president. You are the best president the nation has ever had, etc.," it smells of fake.

I didn't say they were right. I say all this because there's all this daily effort to "break through" to them. Nobody is breaking through to trump followers and everybody needs to accept that. As I said, they went into the voting booths on November 8 fully conscious of who and what he was. Oh, sure, there's that special segment of koolaid drinkers who really did believe he's a great guy, but more Republicans made a protest vote than most people care to acknowledge.

It's even worse than that. Career experts in diplomacy are leaving or being forced out. These are the people who are able to interpret foreign actions and give expert advice. We are ending up with a brain-drain that helps, guess who? Putin.

Spot on. Those voters thought that it would be fun electing the bull in the china shop. What they didn't expect was that the bull will be in their china shop.

If that were true, then Trump's approval rating wouldn't have remained almost perfectly stable since May. I sincerely believe efforts to understand or break through to them need to come to a full stop. They're fully aware that that these threads are made for them, it makes them feel like rock stars and they're loving every moment of it.

This will be very good for Trump's legislative hopes. Also, it's a smart strategy to belittle the person who's going to oversee congressional reaction to the Iran Deal and the confirmation of the next Secretary of State.

On another note, saying that he has a bigger IQ than Rex Tillerson was also a stroke of genius. That will play well with any diplomatic efforts he needs to accomplish abroad.

I agree, starting stupid fights with and insulting a Senator who's already announced that he's not running again is brilliant on Trump's part. And Corker is also on the budget committee - can't think of anything big going on with the budget that Trump might need help with to get through Congress, except the budget, and tax cuts. I love it - make this a show of manliness so if Corker gives in and votes with Trump going forward he'll look like a spineless coward, will to say stuff bad about Trump but vote for 100% of his agenda. So I definitely 100% agree with the Trump message!

More seriously, Corker is one of my Senators and I've always respected him a lot more than LAMAR! who's just a crook who has used so-called public service to amass a fortune of $15-30 million last I checked. The good thing is the Trump insults allow him even MORE latitude to vote his conscience for the remaining 16 months or so of his tenure. I'm sure he'll still feel a duty to the GOP to not undermine them but I'd much prefer Corker voting his beliefs than feeling like he's got to blindly follow McConnell and/or Trump with whatever garbage the Senate puts on the floor.

(bold mine)

Yep. When McCain voted twice against the healthcare disaster, anybody could say, "Well, you know...Trump did make fun of POW's. I mean, what do you expect."

I hate to point out what seems obvious to me, but the fact that the players protesting are nearly all black, and protesting a "black" and "liberal" issue, is entirely relevant here.

It is obvious to me that Trump supporters despise this country. Why else would the support such a despicable, unhinged, and incompetent man running it?
