United Blood Services is encouraging people to go to its West Charleston Boulevard and Whitney Ranch location in Henderson, Nevada, if they would like to donate blood.

UBS says there is currently a 3 hour wait at the Charleston location, Las Vegas television station KTNV reported.

3 hour long line to donate their blood. Sometimes humanity doesn't seem that bad.

The Nation Blood Shortage has been bad these last months, but see the blood system has not been very solid in decades, and it never gets fixed. I suspect the main problem is that the FDA forbids payments for whole blood donations, but selling plasma instead can rake in $300 a month.

This is one more thing that the Elite Class has mismanaged over the long haul in front of everyone, and the problem never gets fixed.

The blood center is on me like crazy the day I'm eligible to re-donate. They love me there since I have that liquid gold O-, which is constantly in critical shortage, so I almost feel obligated to give.

I used to give too till I could not, but there is no excuse for our blood system to be this bad decades after we understood clearly that it sucks.

The whole idea of being able to profit off plasma but not off of blood (as you pointed out earlier) is just absurd. I do understand that the two are used for different reasons (sold plasma is used in creating medications from what I understand) but the reasoning why you can profit from one and not the other is, as Scalia once said, "jiggery-pokery"

What is more absurd is that we started to understand that this was a problem at least 30 years ago, yet nothing was ever done.

Sounds like America EXACTLY dont it....

And that almost no one cares.

Certainly not the elite.

They who run it.
