Tom Price apologizes for private-charter flights, pledges to repay taxpayers nearly $52,000

i am simply pointing out the hypocrisy. we know for a fact that the obama administration took numerous of these types of trips yet you never heard one peep from the faux outrage crowd.

Presenting an Obama cabinet comparison isnwhat puts DT's cabinet spending into perspective. I'm in full agreement.

Tom Price, the, uh, you know, fiscal conservative, has resigned. To date as far as we know there are at least 3 other cabinet members or high ranking officials in the Trump Administration who are apparently too self-important to fly commercial. WTF it's the People's money and frankly the Trump Administration is not all that concerned about the 99% and their money.

Trump was going to drain the swamp and reduce government spending and Make America Great Again, remember? He then brought in more billionaires than any previous administration; he savaged government agencies and he has orchestrated the biggest division of the nation since the War Between the States, he was only going to hire the best. :roll: It's same old same old under Trump, only worse. Trump has gotten nothing done.

I know more than a few people who couldn't and wouldn't vote for Hillary because they believed - and probably correctly - that with Hillary there were two sets of rules, those that apply to Hillary and her people and those that apply to the rest of us. Some people, maybe most, voted for Trump because they believed Trump would never permit that. Trump has been bitch slapping America since the day he became President. He is President, he sets the standards, he leads by example, he shows the way and he sucks at it. A lot.

tell us how a 14k dollar trip to the kentucky derby with is kids was not an abuse of power?
why was that trip needed and why did he only pay 955 bucks instead of the full 14k?

because that is exactly what holder did.

So go after holder back then when he did that, and they did.

Price was not required to use secure planes and he racked up a bill dozens of times more. What he did was so bad he had to resign.

“All of my political career I’ve fought for the taxpayers,” Price said. “It is clear to me that in this case, I was not sensitive enough to my concern for the taxpayer."​

Which is about as self promoting of an apology as Newt Gingrich's excuse/apology for cheating on his wife.

“There’s no question at times of my life, partially driven by how passionately I felt about this country, that I worked far too hard and things happened in my life that were not appropriate.”​
