I was making a point but I guess I was too subtle, which is rare for me.....Trump poked the culture wars and angered the bees to the point that standing or sitting is what is all over the so-called journalists product as well as DP...Maybe just maybe that was Trumps plan all along.

He is a smart one like that.

Yes, he distracts from his numerous legislative failures and horrible leadership stumbles by getting involved with personal scandals over and over and starting childish slapfights with anyone who doesn't worship at his feet.

Truly, this is the mark of a genius.

On a per-capita basis it could be SA or Iran. In sheer number of dollars it's easily the U.S. because the "moderate rebels" in Syria are terrorists.

BUT even if Iran is, they are now on this ban. But SA, who most will say is #1, or arguably at least # 2...Isn't on that list. The reason? Trump likes SA, he does business with them. They give him MILLIONS!! His words!!

The actions of Pakistan's security service (ISI) have probably led to the deaths of more US servicemen than most of the listed seven nations combined.

Still going on today and Trump has sent an additional 4,000 US soldiers to tangle with the ISI's (funding/arms/sanctuary) Taliban in Afghanistan.

I just can't quite figure how Islamabad always gets a pass.

What conspiracy theory? He's explaining why President Trump has a motive to protect Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is not present on this list, and for no discernible reason.

What is the quality of information sharing between Saudi Arabia and the US?

How well or poorly does SA assist the US in vetting their citizens for entry into the US?

Much better, but still: is your argument is that people from Saudi Arabia have never caused much trouble within our borders? How trustworthy are they as a source of information?

My argument is that what some people or their country did in the past is not part of the criteria for including or excluding countries from the list in the order.

As much as I dislike the exclusion of SA from the list , I find it incredible that the reason for excluding them has something to do with Trump's businesses.

Well, what's the goal of the policy: to keep us safe from terrorists?

If so, i consider SA's exclusion to be poorly justified.

I agree. But I don't think they were excluded because Trump has a few businesses there. In fact, that's an almost ridiculous notion.

Saudi Arabia has long gotten better treatment from the US than they really deserve - but it's because they have oil, not Trump hotels.
