White House: Border Wall Funding Doesn't Have To Be Tied To DACA Bill

 Maybe. You seem to think "Republican" = "conservative." That isn't so. Heck, during the campaign, even Trump said he wasn't a conservative, and isn't running to please conservatives.

So most Republican voters are either frauds who pretend to be conservatives, or morons who vote for candidates who go against their beliefs? Interesting.

Sure there are Republicans upset, but the Democrats aren't happy either. It just doesn't make a lot of sense. He's giving the Democrats what they want, and yet they still refuse to get on the Trump train. There is just no satisfying some people.

Huh? Have you read this thread, or been around any right wing blogs? Most of the people pissed off at Trump are Republicans.

"Republican" =\= "Conservative". Conservatives were deeply divided over whether or not the prospect of Hillary was bad enough to justify voting for Trump.

Most Republican voters claim to be conservatives. But considering their strong support for a guy who was once a big fan of Hillary Clinton...one has to wonder whether they are truly conservatives, or morons easily fooled by a con man. Take your pick.

I repeat:  Maybe. Doesn't speak at all to the actual point.

And what else can he do? Tell me. McConnell and Ryan have failed!!!

Yes. Despite the President's closing argument about how much he was upset with his own Attorney General, the push to repeal Obamacare somehow failed.

Because "Leadership".

I would say that "Morons easily fooled by a con man" is a description which can likely be accurately applied to a majority of voters in general, and would include the GOP primary electorate in that.

It is a healthy part of why I continue my lonely call to impose the requirement that people registering to vote first be required to pass the citizenship exam.

He probably could have gotten it too. A little skill at legislating and not leading from behind goes a long way when you have an agenda.

I think it was Truman who said that you could accomplish almost any of your goals in Washington, provided you didn't care who got the credit.

Trump has sort of the opposite problem: He doesn't have any particular goals in mind, but whatever happens, he wants the credit for it.

Not sure where you're going with this.

Never in history has a group of people voted for someone who spent their ENTIRE life endorsing views so radically different to theirs. Trump spent his whole life acting like a liberal, then one day decided to pretend to be a conservative...and GOP voters ate it all up. It's completely unprecedented,
