At least one employee suffered minor injuries Wednesday when "one, possibly two explosive devices detonated" in a post office in East Chicago, Indiana, according to an ATF spokesperson.

Pipe bomb in a package per reports on twitter and other news outlets.

“I cannot tell you exactly where, but it was inside and we believe it was a package,” Mendez said, adding that he could not confirm what kind of device or devices were found. The Times of Northwest Indiana reported a fire official confirmed there were two pipe bombs found in the building.

FYI: East Chicago is actually in Indiana and probably a good hour away from Downtown Chicago, which is in Illinois.

WASHINGTON ― A former Republican political candidate in Indiana who authored a right-wing blog was arrested this week for allegedly mailing a pipe bomb and a threatening letter containing a bullet to two of his political opponents. The pipe bomb exploded at a post office, leaving a pregnant postal worker with “cuts, abrasions and bruises to her head, legs, and feet.”

Eric Krieg, a 45-year-old resident of the city of Munster, was charged with knowing possession of a destructive device and transporting explosive materials. He was arrested on Thursday after the FBI executed search warrants at his residence, his work and on his vehicle.........

Republicans, as in many, perhaps even most, are certainly cray cray. Just look at who they elected president for proof of that assertion.

They appear to be more satisfied by that decision than they are about the decisions they made for congressional elections. It might be better to say that being involved in partisanship is what is crazy.

It is exactly because they prefer an unhinged Billionaire like Trump while having hate boners for more rational people like McCain--who is not exactly the bastion of rationality, btw--for example, is even more proof that they are cray cray. Thanks for helping me make my point.

A lot of them are just plain nuts, but not all, not even most. The problem is that it's the nutty ones that get all the attention. I don't see Trump as unhinged, just as irrational and ignorant, in over his head and totally unfit for office.

You may be right. His unhinged behavior may just be an act to cover up his incompetence.
