I'll have to check through all the Statue/VA threads to see if you were in their yammering about how the anti-fa lawbreakers needed immediate and swift justice, and that liberals were so bad in ignoring these "law breakers".

I believe his murder conviction was at the state level and not federal.
 
If/when Trump pardons people involved in the Mueller probe, it will be as big a controversy as him being found guilty of crimes himself. It will be an admission of guilt by all in involved, as well as an admission that everything those involved said about their involvement with Russia was a lie, and the firestorm for Republicans will be enormous to say the least.

One thing though: that obstruction charge is one thing Trump can't run away from. He may not go to jail, but it will bring down his presidency if he goes on a pardon spree.

And on top of wailing like a victim, you're pointing the finger at government for your woes...big government made rural working class folks stay in their dwindling towns that have no economy? Government made all those rich corporate CEOs transfer their jobs overseas to the lowest bidder?

What a joke. The only thing this administration has even a chance of doing legislatively is to lower taxes on the wealthy. The Koch brothers are literally ramping up for this right now, you can read their tax document summary. See if you can read between the lines of their "proposal".

I know at one point there was a lot of talk about States filing charges/prosecuting (NY, Delaware, Washington, where most of this business rolls up to).
From what I understand, the president can't pardon that.
If he pardons himself, it admits guilt, which can be legit grounds for impeachment. Whether a state can indite him, is a question that's not been fully tested.
 
I'm sure there are what about isms for this, as in, each president pardons, and the opposing side hates it....but.


I think pardons should be done away with. Arpaio is a criminal, and should pay the price.

If nothing else, read up on Arpaio's office failure to investigate sex crimes. Repulsive.

That being said, I'm really not at all surprised President Trump has pardoned him so it's not a big shock at all to me.
