Trump Tells Aides He Has Decided to Remove Stephen Bannon

President Trump has told senior aides that he has decided to remove Stephen K. Bannon, the embattled White House chief strategist who helped Mr. Trump win the 2016 election, according to two administration officials briefed on the discussion.

This is great news for the Goldman Sachs wing in the White House.

Although it appears Steve Bannon submitted his resignation on August 7th, so this looks like it was planned weeks ago.

Ding dong, a witch is dead...

There remain a few more demons to exorcise, but one step at a time....

Jared Kushner is next.

Didn't Trump appoint a **** ton of bankers to positions in is administration? It's hard to keep track with the revolving door that is Trump political appointments. But Trump is just the other side of the Corporate-State (well I guess he's the whole coin now, lol), so it's not like Goldman Sachs was ever on the outs in the first place, lol.

No way, the only think Trump loves more than nepotism is himself.

Mike Pence is still there.

Correct, however people like Gary Cohn will be needed to implement tax reform.

Trump IMO made a decision to side with the economy. His top priority is the economy. Trump has been a mad-man in creating jobs and wealth.

Trump's saving grace has been the booming stock market. Siding with Bannon over Gary Cohn could have led to the stock market crash.

Has there ever been a President to have so many of his cabinet/political appointments resign or be fired in so little a time? If anything, this revolving door shows us what a **** job Trump is as an Executive of government.

We should just cut to the chase, and at the end of each week Trump has to assemble his cabinet and give roses to the ones who get to remain on for another week.

Jesus tap dancing Christ on a pogo stick, this administration is a Realty-TV train wreck.

His job appears to be going around the world assuring Americas allies that despite whatever Trump says everything's ok.

Tough job.

But he keeps things low key enough that he's not yet in Trumps cross hairs.

I would have celebrated this some months ago. But it's become astonishingly clear with the continuing rotation of White House staff that nobody has an effect on Trump's behavior. Everybody is in the White House because of him. He is not what he is because of the people around him. We will have no more reason to rejoice his leaving than we had reason to rejoice Kelly becoming Chief of Staff.

Yeah, sure it was . I've submitted resignations like that before. That's how you get "shut up and go away" money and keep your resume clean.

Usually alnog with the shut up and go away money comes signing a non-disclosure agreement. Bannon isn't going to say squat.

This was a mutually agreed upon decision. Steve Bannon is former military and a former banker at Goldman. He's a patriot and brought a lot of truth in the White House.
