Steve Bannon Out at White House

Re: Trump Tells Aides He Has Decided to Remove Stephen Bannon

Jared Kushner is next.

why would tRump jettison his daughter's husband?

kushner was bannon's number one target of his leaks

Re: Trump Tells Aides He Has Decided to Remove Stephen Bannon

good article here:
Taibbi: Fire Steve Bannon - Rolling Stone

politically, this might be a mistake by tRump. but one i am delighted he made

bannon is now free to tell all with his own unique spin

Kushner and Cohn win this round. Now it's who will replace him. I might break down and watch the 3 network by-lines and 'breaking news' statements to guess. My personal choices early on would be ... Gov. Christie or Gov. Kasich ...

LOL on the replacements... will NEVER happen. Christie and Kasich are hated by Trump.

Re: Trump Tells Aides He Has Decided to Remove Stephen Bannon

correct, however people like gary cohn will be needed to implement tax reform.

Trump imo made a decision to side with the economy. His top priority is the economy.
trump has been a mad-man in creating jobs and wealth.

Trump's saving grace has been the booming stock market. Siding with bannon over gary cohn could have led to the stock market crash.

the portion of your post with which i can agree

Re: Trump Tells Aides He Has Decided to Remove Stephen Bannon

Not if he goes back to brietbart.

I doubt he throws Trump under the bus. And, even if he does, I would be absolutely stunned if he reveals anything we do not already know.

I would have celebrated this some months ago. But it's become astonishingly clear with the continuing rotation of White House staff that nobody has an effect on Trump's behavior. Everybody is in the White House because of him. He is not what he is because of the people around him. We will have no more reason to rejoice his leaving than we had reason to rejoice Kelly becoming Chief of Staff.

ejecting bannon was likely driven by kelly

which then makes kelly an excellent appointment. he's cleaning house

The behavior of Trump will be my benchmark.

Re: Trump Tells Aides He Has Decided to Remove Stephen Bannon

Usually alnog with the shut up and go away money comes signing a non-disclosure agreement. Bannon isn't going to say squat.

It appears he is returning to Breitbart News....

Stephen Bannon reportedly out at the White House, likely to return to Breitbart

He starts attacking Trump from that platform and Trump is assuredly done.

Would firing Bannon turn Breitbart against Trump? - Aug. 15, 2017

Maybe Trump could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and not lose a supporter, but shoot a guy named Steve Bannon and Breitbart might ensure Trump loses most of his voters...

kelly arrived at the white house expecting to deal with staff

he is too wise to expect to control tRump

bannon can either rally the base to continue to support tRump - or turn them away from him

which is why the donald should have made him ambassador to switzerland or some other ritzy but quiet assignment

Re: Trump Tells Aides He Has Decided to Remove Stephen Bannon

This was a mutually agreed upon decision. Steve Bannon is former military and a former banker at Goldman. He's a patriot and brought a lot of truth in the White House.

Fascinating assertion. Say, could you detail what 'truth' it was that he brought to the White House?

Thanks in advance!

The White House new communication director Hope Hicks is very media savvy and will help Trump on twitter.

Christie destroyed Rubio for trump in NH; trump remembers that; Christie and trump both have that certain NJ atmosphere in their heads;

Christie may be bombastic but he's experienced with great ideas when he can control his mouth ;;

Four tops aids to the president in this shot gone w/in 6 months. This administration is a flaming clown car that crashed into an orphanage.

.... Since most of Trump's hideous tweats occur early in the morning, then only if she is waking up next to him....

On China, Bannon told Kuttner that the United States was at “economic war” and warned that “one of us is going to be a hegemon in 25 or 30 years and it’s gonna be them if we go down this path,”

Bannon is technically correct on this.

“On Korea, they’re just tapping us along. It’s just a sideshow,”

I would agree as well.

“Ethno-nationalism — it’s losers. It’s a fringe element,” Bannon told the magazine. “I think the media plays it up too much, and we gotta help crush it, you know, eh, help crush it more.”

“These guys are a collection of clowns,” he added.

she is savvy enough to have lasted longer than any other political aide

and she is reported to have an excellent rapport with tRump

but to expect her to change the habits of a 71 year old narcissistic multi-billionaire who has never had any oversight - except his father's - is asking too much of her

Breitbart is tweeting 'War' at trump. This certainly won't move independents to trump either ...

That's actually a really interesting proposition. I would love to see who has more influence over they type of people that read Breitbart - Trump or Bannon. Sounds like a good reality TV show, actually...and bonus, Trump actually has some experience being in reality TV, so...this could be some quality entertainment... hehe

they are both well acquainted with the ways of the mob

At the end of the day - Trump just wants to be loved. IMO...That's why he can't outright turn his back on the muddy waters swirling around him - he wants EVERYBODY to love him one way or another!

Yet another rat jumps ship...

that mental image caused me to flush my eyes with clorox
