61% of Americans support leaving statues alone

67% of Whites say Confederate statues should remain.
So do 65% of Latinos and 44% of blacks.

Mislead AGAIN by the histrionics of the main stream media.
Media still doesn't get it. The collective hysteria & framing of average Americans as lumped in with these nut fringe racists is turning everyone off. Again, as during the election, you are misreading the situation.....badly. and it will take another beating at the polls to make you understand.

Considering this was a nation wide poll it is useless as someone living in Colorado might have a different view than someone in Alabama. The poll doesn't distinguish this.

This will be up to the elected reps of We the People, and we can see that many of them have clearer vision for the future: put the statutes where possible in public museums.

It looks like the "our way, or the highway" strategy of the Left may be a bust...again.

Huh. Interesting. Who, exactly, has been "Mislead"?

Where/when did that happen? I sure haven't seen it.

Who is misreading what? You're not being very clear here.

The Latino vote was kind of strange on some of the questions. For instance, of all three races that approved of white supremacy, white nationalists, Antifa and the KKK...the Latino's were highest.

On the question about "expanding or restricting the right to protest or criticize the government"....more republicans thought the right wasn't restricted enough. Which is kind of strange considering how distrustful of the government they claim to be.

On the question about removing the confederate statues.....I don't think most people understand the issue well enough to have a rational opinion at this time. It's going to take time and education to undo over 150 years of Lost Cause misinformation and revisionist history.

I was thinking much the same. These people need to be re educated.we can set up some sort of camp sites to ensure there is enough room for them all.

Huh?

So that's your response? When the survey results don't fit your worldview, you proclaim the participants "strange" and "misinformed"?

All I did was comment on the poll...not other posters. You try doing the same.

I'm thinking we can all them re-education camps... Did Arpaio already do that? Didn't realize.
