Another white nationalist rally planned, this time in Texas with Richard Spencer

It's not fascism to stop armed, violent white supremacist terrorists from using your property.

The reason it was canceled is because the university didn't want the violent anti-fa fascists to create chaos at another peaceful rally like they did in Charlottesville.

In terms of antifa, they are funded by various sources, like patreon who bans right wing users for various reasons but lets itsgoingdown.org to function despite nonstop calling for violence, as well as wait you guessed it soros. There are numerous other donors but patreon and soros seem to be the biggest contributors.

For the people like spencer and his rallies, I have no idea who funds them, I doubt the koch brothers would dare get associated with them, and if they did they likely would have been called out for it like soros has. My guess is they have some lesser known rich backers who fly under the radar combined with much more small donations.

Whoever is behind the funding on either side share a common goal to destroy this country from within.

The money funding these groups isn't limited to those here in the states but from other countries who would love to see the U.S. collapse and Martial Law put into effect.

Both sides are the fringe in our society. Marxists vs. Fascists. Both are foreign ideologies to our way of life and our form of government.

What is really troubling are the number of young people involved in these movements. And I doubt many of them truly understand what they are participating in nor do they have an understanding of the history of failure and suffering of mankind because of them.

It is cancelled

We've done that for years.

Look how much it helped.

Worked wonders until antifa and lefty anarchists started with their violent protests giving the right self-believed reasons and causes to back skin-head assholes.

The real explanation behind it all is how the rest of society has to ****ing put up with 20 somethings refusing to grow up who want to settle scores on the playground.

Refusing to play host to a nazi rally is not letting the terrorists win. If they want to go march around on their own property they can.

It is the "wrong" ideas and a great opportunity for conversations that is being refused hosting, most sadly.

I'm not sure where in A&M University's charter it says it will take on and support ALL ideological movements no matter what the content, up to and including nazism. This isn't violating their rights or stifling free thought, it's denying nazis a venue. They can gather in an empty field and burn their crosses if they want.

A bad idea that betrays how weak we are now.

You are free to invite them to your private property, and give them the soapbox from which to "preach" from.

An act the leagues of intolerant and stupid will surely punish.

Why is your assumption, along with many others, that it's the counter-protesters who start the violence?

If your platform is everyone should have the right to assemble and protest, then surely those who protest against the protest are equally deserving of the freedom.

Who brings/starts the violence should be charged accordingly.

Let's not just assume that it's always the counter-protesters who start the violence.

if you are not looking to engage in violence, then do not engage each other
true for both sides

Best thing is to let the white trash have their hate stroke-off and ignore em'. However from personal experience, having dealt with these yayhoos here in Chicago, it's hard to do.

Both fascists and marxists have brought untold death to the world. However I will point out the antifa side or in the past pre nazi germany the iron front actually helped hitler gain power. The brown shirts and the iron front were bashing in eachothers skulls when they were not attacking others for opposing views.

The iron front however ended up being much more violent that the brownshirts, to the extent between the fighting between them allowed hitler to gain authoritarian power, and they further used the burning of the reichstag as proof the communists were planning to destroy germany.

The iron front which later became antifa helped nazis come into power, that is history, trying to end violence by being more violent ends up helping the other guys out, even if they are literally nazis.
