It's not the desire to kill millions? It's a willingness to let millions of ones nation die so that one can remain a god-king. If he stepped down and allowed democracy, NK would become a developed nation in a couple generations.

He's killing millions to maintain power. Mass graves, forced labor, total lack of human rights, the whole 9 yards. With reach of the US, there's no limit; he'll go to 11.
