Hey Cord Cutters? Who's laughing now! I pay $75 for all cable channels, HBO, and Showtime. In a few years you'll all be paying twice that.

[Statement by Bob Iger]: “We’ve got this unbelievably passionate base of Disney consumers worldwide, and in virtually all of our businesses — except theme parks — we’ve never had the opportunity to connect with them directly or know who they are,” he says. “It’s high time we got into the business…Once we do, the monetization possibilities are extraordinary for this company.”

With all the licensing hubbub and costs, it's still better to stream from an alternative website.

It's not about the passion of their customers it's about their profits. But anyway.

Prediction? Bob Iger will leave Disney and run for President in 2020 and Disney will buy Netflix where Reed Hastings becomes the new CEO.

Okay, that maybe a bit far-fetched although a very smart move would be Disney buying Twitter. Twitter could possibly do a lot of things with ESPN and Disney's other weak social media presence.

I will say this again and again but Twitter is a very underrated company because its technology is far more superior to that of Facebook or Snap. They may not figure it out but if they do, that company could be more profitable than Facebook. Twitter is a far more useful and important than Facebook will ever be and they simply can't copy Twitter's platform.

How many different companies are we going to have to pay to get any kind of selection when this is all done? Are we going to finally get out of our ridiculously over-priced cable bills only to be paying the same money to a bunch of different companies?

Netflix continually does less and less of why I once liked them so much.

I personally don't like Netflix. The quality of content is bad IMO. I could write a better script.

One problem with Twitter, they are basically slowly going bankrupt and losing popularity and if there is one thing that Disney would not tolerate is losing money. Twitter just has no way to make money near enough to support itself. Facebook is doing better than ever mainly due to its ownership of Instagram which has pretty much killed Snapchat. Instagram is the future.

Gilmore Girls was particularly disappointing......really looked like everyone was there to collect a paycheck.
