Mike Pence Rejects Report That He Is Positioning for 2020

So I believe the fake news that he is not laying the groundwork for 2020? Which is the fake news? Would you expect him to deny, or is he incapable of a lie?

I just find it Hilarious when you bust Trump for believing fake news and yet here you are, believing fake news.

Of course he is denying it. Every politician when asks if he is going to run the stock answer is "Oh no, I am just concentrating on completing my job as / senator/ governor/ representative/ cabinet member/ reality tv star.

But to say that hasn't cross his mind would be dishonest.

So which is the fake news? Did he not actually deny it? Either he isn't doing it and saying he is is fake news, or he is and his denial is fake. I'm simply asking the question of who lied?

Since the election, I've noticed some similarities between what Pence says and what Frank Underwood in House of Cards said as he maneuvered the President into resigning. The leaks, the infighting, and the mistakes made by this administration, to me at least, point toward Pence wanting to be President without being elected. Because if we are honest with ourselves, Pence would never have made it to the top spot any other way. Heck in 2016 he had a 40% approval rating in IN, a red state. Most Republicans there wanted to see him on Trump's ticket just so he wouldn't run for re election as Gov.

And now we are talking about him like he's the best choice we got. Bull**** on that, I lived in IN under Pence, I'd rather keep Trump. Unless Pence gets caught up in the investigation and goes down with Trump, I do not support Trump's impeachment or resignation. And I really hate Trump...

Interesting perspective. And I think you're right, Pence would never have made it out of the primaries on his own. I see him as something of a Mike Huckabee twin.

No politician in their right mind would be ready to throw their towel in the ring this far before the election. It would almost certainly be doomed. Much too soon.

General comment: It does seem that the ones who jump in way before everyone else also fizzle out before everyone else.

By that logic then you can't say that Trump is incorrect when he labels something as fake news.

Of course, Pence denies it in public, but in private, it's another story. His hiring of presidential campaign strategist Nick Ayers all but assures us that Pence will be running in 2020.

Mike Pence’s real power move - POLITICO

NOTE: I think Machiavelli has a hard on right now. LOL.

I take it as strong evidence that I have long been correct that at the right time Pence will betray The Rebellion, that he will give Trump a shove out the door, to wild and sustained cheering..

Pence is not very bright, but he is bright enough for this.
