Quinnipiac poll: President Trump's job approval sinks to 33%

Not same polls. He won't win re-election. There is no way he could. He has flip-flopped on every freaking thing imaginable. Even who he has phone calls with. A lot of people gave him the benefit of the doubt the first time. It won't happen again.

He won't have to worry about re-election.

Such polls are interesting only as a reflection of what's happening at the moment and the media drives the narrative at such times. The media has spent little time on the President's successes to date, prime one for conservatives being returning the Supreme Court to a center right panel for decades to come.

As for Trump getting reelected, I wouldn't be so quick to claim it's out of the question. You have to remember that elections in the US are toss ups these days with the country very polarized. And it's also important to remember that the Democrats are totally leaderless at this point in time. Who's the favourite to be nominated in 2020? No one on the Democrat's side has the national profile.

If the Republican House and Senate get their acts together and pass Trump's proposals for a budget and tax reform and finds a way to do something with the ACA, Trump could return to the popularity that got him elected.

And then there is this little investigation...

Yawn...

Another bogus poll to (not) get excited about.

Party affiliation sampling from the poll:

Democrat - 33%
Republican - 23%
Independent - 37%
Other/DK/NA - 7%

https://poll.qu.edu/images/polling/us/us08022017_demos_U348kmpa.pdf

Gallup Party Affiliation - 2017 Jul 5-9

Democrat - 28%
Republican - 25%
Independent - 45%

Party Affiliation | Gallup Historical Trends

Democrats oversampled, Republicans slightly undersampled and Independents grossly undersampled...equals bogus poll.

REJECTED

Bwahahahahaha. Attack the source.

Its all you have.

Weak.

???

Attack the source?

Dude...I attacked the drivel that source presented...namely, the bogus poll. I reject the so-called results of the poll. The numbers that the poll presents are false. They are not representative of the views of the people.

Is there such a thing as a negative approval rating? It seems to be heading there. What a president!

Last dog seems to be dying because congress is sick of his **** and Rasmussen polls have him down. Glad you tethered yourself to a sinking ship because soon and your ilk will be irrelevant. Thanks for playing come back in 30 years.

Congress is full of selfish politicians who sold their soul long ago

Sorry. That dog won't hunt. It must suck to be a 45 and Putin supporter.

I would not know about being a putin supporter

Being pro russian is a habit that liberals like yourself have practiced since before WWII

Trump has never been popular. He won with a lower percentage of the popular vote than Romney lost with in 2012. Trump had the benefit of running against someone that was even more unpopular in the states that count than he is.

I don't disagree, but he still generates more popular support than anyone the Democrats currently have on offer. Until the 2020 election slate is set, saying that Trump hasn't a chance is just wishful thinking.

And then there is this little investigation...

If you're banking on investigations to get you where you want to be, I offer you Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton as examples of where investigations have increased support for those investigated rather than reduced it.

Quinnipiac poll: President Trump's job approval sinks to 33%

Trumps approval rating among Americans (33%) now matches America's negative ratings of the Palestinian Authority, Russia, and Saudi Arabia.

Additional: Donald Trump's Approval Rating Just Hit a New Low

It's hard for me to beleive his approval ratings are that high--- This President is in the gutter on everything and now with a Grand Jury being assembled---it's hard to believe he's not going to get impeached or be forced to resign.

Trump does enjoy a core group of cultists. These are the people that would still support him if he did shoot someone on 5th Ave.

It is highly unusual for a president who enjoys a country in relatively good economic times (thanks Obama) with such low numbers. It implies that if there is even a mild recession, that support will wane.

If you pull your head out of the sand...you might just see an ugly dose of reality.

Blah, blah...and you got nothing except to attack me.

LOL!!

I think Trump's reported approval ratings are about as accurate now as they were on the eve of the election.

Probably true. He won the election within the polling margin of error.

Texas and Georgia are surprises. Changing demographics?

The head in tge sand comment was referencing your refusal to admit the obvious.

The poll is garbage....dems are over sampled by 10 points.....More fakery.

Well he's never been above 36-37% approval in any polls, I think the fakery is from within...

I just looked into them. They are shady as hell.

I looked into this one time. You have to pay to register before you can bet. The house takes 15% of the action. And, since it's offshore, you have to pay a fee to have the money transferred to your bank if you win. Even if you win you are still going to lose. Offshore gambling on the internet is for suckers.
