Mexico is denying that its president recently called President Trump to compliment the White House's immigration policy, saying Enrique Peña Nieto has not contacted Trump in weeks. Trump earlier this week implied that Mexico's president had praised the White House in a call for policies that lowered levels of illegal immigration on Mexico's southern border. “Even the president of Mexico called me," Trump said at a Cabinet meeting. "They said their southern border, very few people are coming because they know they’re not going to get through our border, which is the ultimate compliment.” Mexico's government fired back at the White House on Wednesday, saying that the leaders' last contact was at the Group of 20 (G-20) summit last month. Peña Nieto “has not had any recent telephone communication with President Donald Trump," Mexico's Foreign Ministry said in a statement reported by The Associated Press. According to the AP, Peña Nieto and Trump last spoke about immigration during their meeting at the G-20 summit.

Correct me if i am wrong about this but arnt phonecalls between heads of state typically a matter of public record making not the content but if there or was not a call easily verifiable?

Trump is a very disturbed man. Half a century ago he would have probably been institutionalized.
 
I've known about and followed Trump for 30+ years. I've heard him talk dozens of times, twice live. He's always been an egomaniac, and exaggerator and a conman. Donald Trump only cares about Donald Trump.

I think the best story I could tell about him to prove this was about 2 years ago, just when he was thinking about running for prez. I heard and interview with him and the person asked him about the Birther stuff and if Trump was ever going to tell the whole story about his Birther days and/or write a book about it.

I'm paraphrasing but Trump's answer was 'that he was thinking about writing a book, and of course if he did it would be a great book and a #1 bestseller.' The reporter asks an off the cuff question, and Trump has to make it the greatest book ever. That encapsulates his whole personality. That's why he lies, he exaggerates. Everything in his mind has to be all about Donald Trump's 'greatness'.

The guy can't even talk about writing a book without patting himself on the back and mentioning how 'great' the book would be. He's like a child, he and everything he does or says has to be 'great'. My Daddy can beat up your Daddy stuff.

And this is the guy the Republicans put int he WH. I pray to God we can get through this.

Disgusting.

I wonder how much of it is pathological lying in that he is saying things he knows to be completely untrue, and how much of it is delusions. I think his narcissism and other personality disorders are so extreme that he is not always in touch with reality.

What is really disturbing is how his supporters think nothing at all of defending and rationalizing the lies and rants of a lunatic.

whats the point in commenting? One of them is lieing, I dont really care which. I dont even care if he keeps his promise of building a wall or not as long as he gets illegal immigration under control. Anti-Trumpers are not interested in a conversation about policy. The only thing they seem to be interested in is trying to convince everyone that Trump is the anti-christ.
