Trump thinks the 'White House is a real dump,' report says

Last edited:
Oh please, it's the White House, he can have some decorum. You know full well that had Obama said it, you'd be losing your **** over it.

True, but relative to his NY pad, it probably is. It's not like George Washington or Congress had a couple of train cars filled with gold in 1792. To me it's pretty fancy given our circumstances.

He's a ****ing billionaire, any place in DC could be considered a dump.
You do have a desperate need to defend any and everything trump does and says. It is outright moronic to qualify style and quality solely based on one's wealth and especially more so when defending a man who clearly lacks style, manners and the slightest inkling of refinement. Moreover it is an embarrassment for anyone calling themselves "American" and excusing the denigration of one of America's most important edifices and symbols.

Let's hear your equal rendition of who lived there just before. You like using colorful terms to describe WH occupants. I'd love to see if you're willing to put your foot into it, and call Obama something similar. If a billionaire is white trash, I can't imagine what a lowly senator from Illinois could be.

Trump's been trying to buy his way out of that label for forty five years. There has not been enough currency of any type printed/minted yet. Another of your brethren already labeled the prior occupants as "ghetto dwellers."

The Obama's carried themselves with Class and treated The White House with respect.

So what do you call your Lowly Senator of Virginia?

What do you now understand about my misreading the top left logo? Now pull your pants up and move on.

Are you being flashed?

It's the White House. It's a symbol of our Government and the Presidency. With the complete lack of tact Trump has shown, it's no wonder he cannot learn to keep his mouth shut. At the same accord, it's a bit insulting. At least Reagan said it was a nice hotel, lol.

As it turns out a lot more refined and dignified, (not perfect) than the asshole billionaire.

Is that what I said? Hmmm...

Maggie, you started off with this being a lie because of where it was being reported. Then it was shown to you that this was being attributed to Trump at a specific event. You've now switched to saying that some trailer trash live in crappy trailer parks. Have I missed anything? A poster called the Trumps trailer trash. Your response was to talk about crappy trailer parks. Where are the Trump's currently living?

Lol, don't knock yourself Maggie.

OK, Mr. Hat. You win.

???

Trump makes poor decisions, and then whines about them blaming every one around him (usually Obama, Hillary, the media, Dems, or liberals).

He knew the White House digs, before he signed on.

He also knew his finances and business relationships would be scrutinized & examined by the press and the three letter agencies, and he would be held to a much higher standard - a Presidential standard - than the usual life of privilege and immunity accorded to his civilian billionaire cohorts.

With all the grey areas he likely operates in, I have no idea why he'd expose his self, his family, and his businesses to that level of scrutiny!

I'm with you.

I'll answer that, Ego and Power.

Ah yes, the old argument of why you can't call out certain names without being thought of as a racist. Anyways, here is Obama's thoughts on the WH:

The Audacity of Hope said:
The inside of the White House doesn’t have the luminous quality that you might expect from TV or film; it seems well kept but worn, a big old house that one imagines might be a bit drafty on cold winter nights. Still, as I stood in the foyer and let my eyes wander down the corridors, it was impossible to forget the history that had been made there—John and Bobby Kennedy huddling over the Cuban missile crisis; FDR making last-minute changes to a radio address; Lincoln alone, pacing the halls and shouldering the weight of a nation.

Here, I'll allow you to go ahead and call Obama whatever you want. Go on.

Sure, you know that first hand. You didn't gather your info from selected rehearsed and carefully orchestrated imagery put out by the WH staffers.
