Actually, your boy was the worst of the worst. Obama never even hit 3% GDP. Trump is approaching that 7 months in. ;) And that's in spite of the relentless hammering by your comrades in the media. ;);)

That's not what this thread or article is about. It's about Wheeler's assertion that Trump himself pushed for Fox to fabricate details about the story to implicate the DNC and distract people from the Russia investigation.

However, a word to all liberals and conservatives: Wheeler can't be trusted. Conservatives trusted Wheeler when he went on Fox and told this story. That was a mistake. Wheeler has no credibility. The same is true now. As a liberal, I don't trust what Wheeler's saying without concrete evidence. If it comes down to just him saying that this happened without any additional evidence, I think he's just aiming for more attention from the media and trying to get a nice payday from Fox in a lawsuit. I don't know if I'm right, but I sure wouldn't put all my chips on Wheeler right now.
 
This is not the first time Fox News have aired false stories with people being misquoted.

For example, this is what the interviewed policemen had to say about a story about my country Sweden that was showed on Fox News.

”We don’t stand behind it. It shocked us. He has edited the answers. We were answering completely different questions in the interview. This is bad journalism.”


Anders Göranzon continues: ”It feels like hell. The real questions should be shown along with our answers. We don’t own the rights to the film, but the end result is that we don’t want to talk to journalists after this. We can’t trust each other.”

Swedish police featured in Fox News segment: Filmmaker is a madman - DN.SE

Also the cinematographers are very critical towards the filmmaker Ami Horowitz and the story that was aired on Fox News.

The Swedish cinematographer Emil Marczak, who filmed the interview, now confirms the policemen’s story. Marczak tells DN that Horowitz ”time and again tried to get the policemen to agree with him”.


”I would never have participated if I had known how unethically and frivolously the material would be edited. To double check that my memory is correct I have gone through the raw material and it confirms the policemen’s view of the course of events”, Emil Marczak says.

Non-Muslims do not go to the British city of Birmingham, which has become a “totally Muslim” city, it has been claimed. Speaking on US news channel Fox News, Steven Emerson – who claims to be a “terrorism expert” – also said that gangs of religious police in parts of London beat up people who are not wearing Islamic clothes.

There are no ethical standards for fox folks. Brian Williams lied once about being under war time fire and he gets fired. Meanwhile O'Reilly lied about seeing bodies in Ireland, central America and being in Florida investigating the jfk assignation... He got raises.

Don't forget how Murdoch news outlets hacked voicemails of ordinary people and celebrities alike, in order to get a bit of buzz.

In one instance, the reporters hacked the phone of a murder victim, intercepted messages intended for the victim (e.g. family and friends trying to reach her), deleted some of her messages, and by deleting messages led family members to believe that their daughter was still alive.

You REALLY need to go back to the history books and see some of the whoppers that have been told. As well as the scandals. Again...naive. You want to know the biggest difference? He might as well have the media in his ass. Not just around him. He gets 24/7 coverage. Most others didn't. Even bush and obama weren't as heavily scrutinized

This topic isn't about GDP, Obama, or anything else but libel which was committed by FOX News, with the help of Donald Trump, and for which they are getting the pants sued off them. But nice to see that you are still capable of deflection. It's just not going to work here. Better luck next time.

The lies that you cite, with no references - did they contain all this drama:
1. Presidential collaboration with a news agency and a wealthy Republican donor to fabricate a story.
2. Collaboration involved fabrication of a lie to blame a DNC murder victim for leaked Democratic emails.
3. Misquoting the investigator of the DNC murder.
4. Intent of story is to divert focus to the murder victim's involvement and away from the Trump / Russia investigation.
