Kelly was upset about Trump firing Comey. Wait until Trump hears about this...

New White House chief of staff John Kelly was so upset with how President Donald Trump handled the firing of FBI Director James Comey that Kelly called Comey afterward and said he was considering resigning, according to two sources familiar with a conversation between Kelly and Comey.

So it begs the question. How long will Kelly stay? If he was so angry about Comey getting fired, is this guy going to be gone the next time Trump gets angry for someone for not being, "loyal." Why is he now Trump's babysitter? Maybe he sees this as an opportunity to right the country and to lead from behind. Maybe he's a Comey puppet!!!! :3oops:

Since Kelly already had a job, and since Comey was fired months ago, wouldnt Kelly already have this reconciled before he took the current job?
More appropriately...what goofy crap will you **** yourself over tomorrow?
 
Yeah, whoever leaked info about that phone call to Comey was doing Gen. Kelly no favors. Trump will be livid.

The odds of Gen. Kelly having a long tenure as Chief of Staff just went significantly down.

Trump is the one who is doing all this. Not ME! Remember Steve Bannon? Remember when he was on the cover of time magazine? Remember when Trump didn't like that? Where is Bannon now? Nowhere prominent that's for sure. If Kelly fixes things he will be profiled and Trump can't take that.

The problem with all these new people is that they take away from Trump's publicity and there's not much new things we can learn about Trump except his tax returns :)

If he really wants to keep the job, and is smart, he'll go orange. Trump would appreciate that.
 
Hopefully, Kelly and Flynn are not cut from the same cloth.

Maybe you missed the point, but Kelly WAS. ABOUT. TO. RESIGN!!!!! Comey told him not to. Comey. The guy Trump fired. One thing's for sure, they may be putting on game face now, but friendly seas are not in the forecast.

Comey was fired 9 May. Its 31 July. Do you think Gen Kelly knows what he signed on for?

The number of important Trump figures which have been shot down in the first 6 months is astounding. Not even the Bush administration had these many major figures threatening to quit or resign within the first 6 months. Trump tried to drain the swamp from a boat full of holes.

The pool of individuals to have knowledge of a private call between Kelly and Comey is very small. More likely a pissed off Comey friend wanting to remind folks about the disgusting way he was fired, or a disgruntled aide who worked closely with Kelly and is getting even for some perceived slight.
