I doubt a 4-star general will "go orange", lol. But he certainly respects the chain of command and knows who he works for.

No one in the trump campaign or adminstration has been charged with any crime

And there is no evidence that the CNN story is true

I think kelly will end up like mattis, mattis and trump do not always see eye to eye, much like kelly and trump, but both seem to do their jobs respectfully, and both are military men so they know if they have an issue with trump, they would pull him into a room with a private conversation pointing out where he screwed up rather than make a spectacle of it.

Unless kelly resigns I can not see him leaving his post, trumps biggest concerns are serial leakers, and kelly aims to bring law and order to the whitehouse, which is something even trump can stomache if it gets rid of his larger foes.

Let's wait until the Trump tweetstorm tomorrow morning. It will most definitely happen. If it doesn't than that means Kelly is keeping things balanced, but I predict it will happen tomorrow morning. Trump hasn't tweeted about Fake News in awhile. That was supposed to be Mooch's job.

I'm firmly in Kelly's corner. Trump admires power, and a 4-Star General wields a lot of it. I don't know if Kelly, or anyone on the planet, can shut the oval office door and tell Trump something he does not want to hear. But fingers crossed that this new COS improves the way things in the WH are run. I live in this country; I honestly don't want to see it brought to its knees by a bunch of bumbling incompetents.

Believe or not it is common practice for govt officials especially military to close the door and yell at their superiors. What seperates calling it out and being respectfull in pointing it out is how it is done. In the military we would call out leaders, but you did it in a private setting, because publically doing it caused morale issues for both that superior and the unit, and led to chaos.

As long as kelly does not do it publicly and is away from cameras and leakers, I doubt trump will care, he gains to much from kelly bringing order, and trump is about his own image before all else.
