Russia probe: Democrats block key witness against shadowy firm Fusion GPS

You sound upset.
Is it because no one has found anything in that year ... other than Russian ties to the Democrat party, I mean.
Isn't that supremely ironic?
It wasn't supposed to go that way.
Very cool.
Aren't you anxious to see where that goes?

Bottom line is we have no idea what anyone has found. We certainly can't say "no one has found anything." That's illogical - stupid even. A year into the investigation, Mueller is gearing up, with some very high profile prosecutors and investigators, guys with big reputations, not shutting down. And Trump seems worried about something, and all the people around him are lawyering up like crazy. Seems odd if there is nothing to see.

Could be that what they're finding all relates to Democrats. Doubt it but it's possible. We'll see I guess.

Right

Right again.

Of course ... that's no accident.

Change their approach if it's in their best electoral interests. Media exposure of Dem pre and post election corruption might help with their timidity. I don't think most of the Republicans have resigned themselves to becoming Democrat-light. Some certainly have.

We are in agreement.

Regarding "nothing to see", haven't you wondered about the leaks?
Like ...
Who's been leaking?
Why only leaks that are made to sound damning only to collapse into nothingness days later?
Why no leaks of any substance?
If there was anything of substance, THAT would have been leaked.

I've never seen any leaks attributed to Mueller's team, so concluding about what he's found based on the nothing leaked from his team (AFAIK) doesn't seem like a good strategy, to me at least.

What's not a leak is Mueller has assembled a very capable and high profile team of prosecutors. Guys of the caliber he's assembled (IMO) don't give up their prestigious and powerful day jobs to join an investigation at the end of which they'll be prosecuting technical violations of campaign finance laws or something of similar magnitude. Certainly, the idea those kind of men join and stay with an investigation that's over nothing at all is delusional, illogical, wishful thinking, IMO.

See, here: Robert Mueller hires star lawyers for team - Washington Times

But, like I said, we'll see when the investigation is done.

I didn't say leaks from Mueller's team.

Regarding Mueller's all-star legal team, that WATI piece is almost a month old and even then there were warning flares about the team's Democrat donations including Hillary and Barack, representation of the Clinton Foundation, "legal spanking" by the USSC, and "... known to stretch the criminal code to its breaking point.".

The number of people that would have seen the testimony for one....

I'll wager you a shiny nickel more folks will learn of it on the rabid right rant sites (if there is any sign of democrat collusion) than EVER would have watched C-Span...

In this day of interwebz and you- tubing I don't see C-Span as the only beacon on Senate sessions... now as for 'hiding' testimony- what of Kushner, Little D testifying behind closed doors... I mean if you see a lack of televised testimony as a sign of hiding evidence... :peace

If the Mueller team isn't leaking, and they're not, forming conclusions based on a complete absence of information coming from that investigation is, IMO, stupid, but you can do what you want, obviously.

Again, if you think guys of the caliber joining Mueller's team are doing it to investigate and prosecute nothing at all, IMO it's delusional but it's your prerogative to believe whatever you want. All you did there was dutifully repeat the talking points coming from Trump's team - they're BIASED, DEMOCRATS!! WITCH HUNT!! etc. It's just an obvious PR strategy to trash the investigators, shoot the messenger, before they release their findings. I guess the lemmings buy it but I don't. Mueller and the people he's hired are serious folks, not political hit men.

1) You said (#101) we were a year into the investigation so you should have realized I wasn't talking about leaks from Mueller. Did you think Mueller had been investigating for a year? No? Then it must've been other entities.

2) I repeated points made in the WATI article which you yourself posted. Didn't you read your own link? That's a bad habit. Not remembering your own posts (#101) is even worse.

We're going in circles. My own position is to remain open minded until Mueller presents his findings.

I've lost more than you had to start with. And that's not bragging.

As you don't know me from squat, I would say your talking BS again, following your Dear Leader? How did that repeal work for ya ? Bwahaha

Democrats have always been enamored with Russia, even when it was the USSR....Hell, Kennedy outright tried to enlist the USSR to throw his own bid for the Presidency.....And in this case, the it is looking more and more like the old axiom is true...What ever the liberals are charging that their opponents are doing is in fact what they are doing....

What proof do you have of what you say? All you can do is make accusation. You can't back up your own words with fact. But, please, enlighten us if you can.
