Kushner contradicts Trump team's denials of Russia contacts

Any assertion that there is some moral equivalence between Trump and Obama on Russia because Obama wasn't very good at countering Russian aggression is just pure crap.
That's not what I asserted, I cited a nicely worded article which sensibly noted all this grave concern Democrats now go on about the nefarious Russians contradicts their endorsements of a wide range of concessions to Russia they endorsed when Obama sought this. To reiterate:
Are they [the Democrats], willing to renounce the foreign policy legacy of one of their most popular leaders? Because only that will demonstrate they’re serious about confronting Russia. Anything short reeks of partisanship.
To see Russians as the source of all evil now sort of contradicts Hillary's "reset", Obama's missile pullback and NATO withdrawals, facilitating Russia's Syrian involvement and involving them in the awful dealings with Iran -all of which these Democrats praised and supported.

The Hillary "reset" with Russia was never going to happen. The only reset Putin desires is a Russian return to Soviet power and subjugation.

Obama's missile pullback

Obama did indeed put missile interceptor facilities in Romania and Poland.

and NATO withdrawals

A NATO withdrawal from where exactly?

facilitating Russia's Syrian involvement

Syria has been a Russian client since at least the 1950's.

and involving them in the awful dealings with Iran -all of which these Democrats praised and supported.

Russia was building Iran's nuclear reactors. How could they not be included?

Congress was split (one chamber each) for Obama's middle four years and Republican controlled for Obama's last 2 years.

Hmmm....Wonder how progressive hypocrites felt about this when it was revealed....

During Obama's imperious reign all Democrats expressed by words and actions endorsement of his foreign policy, Republicans never did. It doesn't matter who is the majority in the legislature; all Democrats endorsed Obama's foreign policy, none objected to any aspect of it. Moreover, it wouldn't matter what the legislature thought of Obama's foreign policy, he did not govern by consensus, never sought bipartisan support, in fact his regime was inclined to govern by decree.

Garnering bipartisan support is one thing, publicly thugging your own party is quite something else...

Trump threatened to support ultra-conservative candidates in GOP primaries of any current GOP moderate Senator who did not vote yes today on McConnell's healthcare-debate vote.

Good for him....Far too many in the current Republican party that really should be labeled the 'Republican wing of the democrat party'.... Those whom occupy those seats, as they have for decades and become wealthy off of being a Senator, or Congressman, and have sold out their constituency in the process should be out on their asses.

Good to see GOPoliticians and GOPosters rhetorically cannibalizing each other .

Oh and you think democrats don't have their own problems right now? Really?

What the hell are they offering other than their same old stale ideas that have already failed?

I don't see how anyone could describe Obama's Administration as ever garnering bipartisan support for anything, more like the opposite. Obamacare, Don't-ask-don't tell, intervention in Libya, red lines over Syrian chemical weapons and toxic deals with Russia on this, characterizing daesh as in the junior leagues, troops surges in Afghanistan, dismantling missile interceptors in Poland and Hungary, and that nefarious deal with Iran were all unilateral Obamian pursuits, no Republicans endorsed any of that, they weren't even asked.

As for Trump's threats to fainthearted Republicans with cold feet over ending Obamacare, more power to him! Repealing the dreadful healthcare fiasco, inaptly named "Affordable Care Act" was one of the main reasons Trump got elected, something he promised to deliver (along with that wall), if Republicans resist his efforts they should be cast aside, lead follow or get out of the way!
