Kushner to detail four meetings with Russian officials in congressional testimony

Bloomberg is a Wall Street oligarch/plutocrat. Of course he wants to see Trump and the GOP "get things done," or at least isn't threatened by them, because the getting of things done will make him much richer. The $800 billion or so in cuts to Medicaid to fund tax cuts on Bloomberg and his buddies doesn't threaten them in any way - Bloomberg and his buddies have gold plated insurance, access to the best healthcare the world can offer, at any time. He probably has a private doctor on standby that he pays a significant sum annually for immediate access.

And his advice makes no sense really. Since when is the proper public response to policies they oppose to sit on their asses and say nothing, don't petition their government to change course, etc.? Should the working poor who will see access to healthcare greatly affected by the GOP plans just say, "Whatever, my cancer doesn't need treating anyway, or it's OK if I have to spend half my annual income on premiums and deductibles because pre-existing conditions are no longer protected. I'm focusing on 2020!!!"

You have been following Bloomberg and his opinions on politics and Trump?
That you would be unhappy with his this opinion makes sense, as you want to throw mud till 2020 the lost time and harm to the country be damned.

They were just having a quick this and that about the weather over a Dennys grand slam breakfast. Completely random. Then they decided that since they enjoyed each other's company so much, why not make it a recurring thing? No bigs.

Oddly, trump took office with most of his attention on domestic issues.

Now in order to stop his domestic agenda the left is trying to ensnare him in a phony russian collusion story

He may become a froeign policy president more by accident than design

How can someone with such a poor grasp of what's happening around him, with such an appalling memory, hold such a position of power?

That's the way mud throwing works. You take meaningless information and describe it as to it were nasty stuff and keep repeating it using similar hollow allegations. The repetition and incapability of the casual reader implant mistrust etc.... That is so basic, that I could hardly believe anyone serious querying it.

Jared Kushner was the one who voluntarily gave up this information. The Trump administration is so hypocritical on this media bias issue, that I'm surprised people are still falling for it. Don't want stuff reported. Don't talk. It's simple, but when we have ego-maniacs live-tweeting email chains that's kinda hard to keep secret.

Yes, he's not a fan, but you ignored my point. It's easy to say, "Hey, let's all work together" when there is nothing Trump will do that will hurt a Wall Street plutocrat, and in fact if the GOP gets their agenda through, Bloomberg will see his taxes slashed and therefore wealth increase, estate taxes repealed, which will save his heirs $billions, etc. It's not as easy for the millions who will lose insurance to say, "Hey, let's not protest, let's all get along, we'll just work towards 2020!!"

No. And it's frankly intellectual hackery to attribute to me bad motives instead of sincere disagreement. I happen to see Trump and what he stands for, which is to put a bonfire to democratic norms that have lasted a couple hundred years, as in fact a unique THREAT to the best long term interests of the country. Just this morning, he's attacking his own AG, the acting head of the FBI, and the press. He's attempted for months to undermine the integrity of the intelligence community, law enforcement, and to obliterate any trust in the media. Etc...................

Frankly, if Bloomberg doesn't see these as threats, I have little interest in his opinion.

So it's meaningless to lie about contacts with a foreign government, over and over and over? And the security clearance process - also meaningless? It's now OK to submit forms under penalty of perjury that omit, e.g., meetings in Trump tower during the transition, so within weeks of submitting forms, that are the basis on which we grant access to our country's secrets? It's all just chalked up to incompetence, and laziness, which is fine because, you know, who can realistically be expected to remember meetings a whole month ago?

And you're being frankly amazingly dishonest to assert that only the "casual reader" should have problems with all this, that these are all "hollow allegations." We have an entire IC who has had problems with these contacts for well over a year now, and have engaged in an extensive and long running investigation of these supposed harmless contacts. To believe this is to assert as fact that likely hundreds of professionals in the IC from Comey on down are nothing more than partisan hacks. You can believe it if you want, but you cannot assert that this is the only reasonable interpretation.
