Exclusive: Mueller asks WH staff to preserve all documents relating to June 2016 meet

Re: Exclusive: Mueller asks WH staff to preserve all documents relating to June 2016

CNN is still laser focused on this nonsense as is WaPo.

Awesome, because preaching to the choir and ignoring what the average voter is really concerned about has done the Democrats so much good since Trumps inaugeration.

Democrats are 0 - 5 in special elections since the election and the DNC is broke I hear.....Lol !!

I doubt it would concern you if Vladimir Putin moved his desk into the Oval office. But most Americans don't have a fond opinion of Vladimir Putin who is former KGB.

It was just 1-1/2 years ago that Russians hacked into the Pentagon and it was moving so fast through the Joint Chiefs of Staffs emails, that they had to shut the system down for 2 weeks to replace hardware and software.

They're always trying to get into electric/utility infracstrure especially if it is feeding U.S. military bases and other critical National Security agencies.

So no, I have never considered Russia a friend more of an opportunist, looking for a very naive & ignorant U.S. President. And they finally got their man--the chosen one.

This is what Republicans had to say about Trump's proposal to Putin to form a joint cyber security union with them.

Republican senators Lindsey Graham, an influential South Carolina Republican who is a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, and Marco Rubio of Florida, who opposed Mr Trump for their party's presidential nomination, blasted the idea. "It's not the dumbest idea I have ever heard but it's pretty close," Senator Graham told NBC's Meet the Press program, saying Mr Trump's apparent willingness to "forgive and forget" stiffened his resolve to pass legislation imposing sanctions on Russia.

I don't think so. Primarily because of all the lies already. Adding to this that Jerad Kushner filled out form 86 which is a National Security Clearance form and revised it 3 times now adding another 100 names, including this meeting. Trump Jr. never disclosed this meeting, then lied again by stating it was about Russian adoptions, got caught lying again, then had to admit it was about dirt on Hillary Clinton, then lied again about who and how many attended this meeting. In the end he released the emails knowing that the New York Times was about to release them. Originally it was the Russian Lawyer, Jerad Kushner, Paul Manafort and himself--and all of sudden there were 4 others in that meeting, one of them a Russian lobbyist, that was investigated for money laundering. Opening U.S. Bank accounts for Russian entities in this country.

This video explains it.

Furthermore, I think that Mueller may already have a lot of information. What the Trump campaign never realised is that they were being watched since 2015 and not by U.S. Intelligence.

Then in this 8 minute video from Shep Smith, he explains that Trump surrogates were not only on the phone with the Russian ambassador but with Russian intelligence agents, including the day that DNC databases were hacked into.

Trump Jr. emails at minimum are conspiracy to collude with a Foreign adversary to interfere into an American election, and in those emails is the smoking gun. Trump Jr. & Jerad Kushner would be well advised to turn over everything to Mueller, because if they go in there and lie under oath--they like everyone else, (Michael Flynn--Jeff Sessions) will be caught.

All of this activity is like they were under surveillance--and wire taped the entire time. They couldn't even do a "secret" meeting and not be found out.

For sure that's the assigned talking points. A lot of very intelligent people aren't buying it. Again collusion requires quid pro quo and there was absolutely no quid pro quo offered in this contact. Yes this looks bad. But it is not collusion. Not illegal. The meeting turned out to be nothing but about Russian adoptions. The bait was dangled no doubt to get Don Jr. to accept the meeting. That he took it is the ammo being used. But again, no campaign is going to turn down information that could be useful in the campaign.

I wonder how important this will be if it all does track back to the Clinton campaign as the instigator? Would that make a difference. Will any of the Trump haters care?

Fenton, you really have no credibility. Talking points don't make you right. (No pun intended.)

Great post !!!

Re: Exclusive: Mueller asks WH staff to preserve all documents relating to June 2016

I'll look forward to seeing you on 11/8/17 and 11/7/18 after we take the house, dominate the gubernatorial races, bite in to your state legislative leads, and hold serve in the senate .

Ill take that bet. Democrats have done nothing on the state or local level to account for your misplaced enthusiasm. And in order to win red districts, you would need republican voters to shift to supporting democrat candidates. Give me one reason why a typical republican voter would vote to put unhinged democrats into power. The democrat campaign slogan of "Hey we are bad but Trump is worse" didn't work for Hillary and wont work in 2018 either. Dems need a positive agenda, not one based solely upon hate and rage.

That suggestion alone, indicates Trump has very low critical thinking skills

Trump Jr.'s emails is the smoking gun of collusion. The minute the email stated RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT--it was game over for him. He should have callled the FBI, he didn't, instead he set up a meeting, then lied by not disclosing it, then lied again stating it was about Russian adoptions, then had to admit it was about dirt on Hillary Clinton, then lied again about how many and who was in the meeting. Then he was forced to release his emails, because the New York Times was going to.

They never realised they were being watched since 2015. So carefully watched they couldn't even pull off a "secret meeting" in the Trump tower.

I imagine Trump Jr. & Kushner will do the status quo and go in for an interview with Robert Mueller who has all of this intelligence and lie again.

Yes, and how many smoking guns have proved to be much ado about nothing again? But it certainly keeps the media and those too gullible to see through that buzzing doesn't it.

Re: Exclusive: Mueller asks WH staff to preserve all documents relating to June 2016

Trump has never found himself in a legal fight he couldn't buy his way out of. Mueller is reminding Trump that money, tweets, and threats of tapes won't make this one go away and it will be over when he says it is.

That's true!

Only Democrats get away with this kind of thing.
