Mayoral candidate tells audience members 'Go back to Africa'

I get so sick of hearing about reparations. none of the people now were enslaved so there is no damage. no damage no money can be awarded.

'Reparations' are just another limp wilted carrot that leftists dangle in front of black people to show them how much they 'care'. Its an appeasement act. A diversion from the real world failure that the overwhelming majority support of one political party has been for black American families. The fact that a white candidate for mayor was running on it as a platform for a mayoral run in St Petersburg should tell you everything you need to know about his side of the story.

LOL

Have a nice day Agent J. Good luck with your little thingy here.

While it wasnt my goal, I love that my OP has triggered the usual snowflakes and suspects for everybody's entertainment. Its hilarious watching people have melt downs over an OP that didn't really say much at all.

Notice in my op i mention no groups, no races, no genders, no sexual orientations, no political parties, nothign really. Just articles and links to video of a comment made by a so called politician that IMO was not classy and a few people got so mad and lost their **** LMAO

Its funny the context that OTHERS invented in their head and then got mad about when it didnt even exists, I love it! A person cant expose themselves better than that, all I wanted to do is discuss how classless the comment was and then hopefully move into a deeper topic of how we MIGHT be, or SEEM to b,e moving into a direction where public officials and politicians are saying whatever they want more and more not matter how terrible and they dont even realize how wrong it is. But I guess to some made up context and fantasy takes over the brain too strongly and quickly and thay cant do that.

Oh well, his comment was very classless . . . .

LOL

Thats what i thought, you got nothing. Good move ending it now, I accept your concession. You try to have a nice day also, you helped make mine already! LMAO

What is the Uhuru Movement?

A small, radical movement of pro-Africa lunatics. They basically just want reparations for colonialism, slavery, and whatever the **** else.

They are just overall scumbags, which is why I don't sympathize with them at all in this situation. The candidate still crossed the line, though.

It would appear that is the case. They are variously described as a racist cult, radical socialist/Marxists, etc..

Given that background, I think the full context of the event would help observers get a better sense of what took place.

It's simple for people incapable of objective thinking to look at what was presented in the OP and rightfully conclude the candidates comments were outrageous and the guy is a racist jerk.

However, given how outrageous this cult is, perhaps something else was said and done before the candidate made the comments shown in the video.

Apparently the OP is anxious to hide from that fact and attack anyone who attempts to discuss it.

Seems to me to uncover the true objective behind this thread.

The Uhuru Movement's political ideology is African Internationalism, which states that capitalism was born parasitic through the attack on Africa and its people.[5] African Internationalism holds that capitalism is imperialism developed to its highest stage,[6] not the other way around, as theorized by Lenin.[citation needed]

Here's the stuff on this Uhuru movement. I agree, they should go back. Don't like it here? Then, why are you here?

This belief derives from Marx's 1867 book Capital, in which Marx wrote of the condition essential to the emergence of capitalism which he called the "primitive accumulation" of capital.[6] African Internationalism is not a static theory that only refers to past conditions, it refers also to the conditions that African people are faced with today. It refers to African people who live inside what it views as imperialist centers, such as the United States and Europe, as an "internal colony".[5] The Movement has called for the release of all African [clarification needed] prisoners in U.S. prisons, described as "concentration camps", and has described U.S. police forces as an "illegitimate standing army". They have called for the withdrawal of police forces from exploited and oppressed African communities

Most Blacks are in the USA because their ancestors were brought there on slave ships.

Deal with it.

There's a little less racism in the USA now then there was in the past, but it's still there from coast to coast.

I'd say thats not far off IMO

I dont know if i agree with small, they are probably larger than people think BUT they certainly arent any majority of anything like that

radical? yes

lunatic? like any so called movement "some" of them for sure. Some of the literature i have read absofreakinlutley!!! lmao

pro-africa? maybe . . again like any "movement" members and groups are all over the place . . some want things here in america some want things in africa some want things globally.
They seem like another group all banded together but has many different subgroups where the subgroups dont even claim the others are part of thier groups . . so weird . .

they want reparations? yes among other tings but again, for who and for what and where is all over the map

scumbags? again . . definitely some of them!

sympathize with them? not me, not their literature!

and lastly YES the candidate still crossed the line

oh wait, im not supposed to know anything about the group . . oooops LMAO

anyway, as usual good job TG! look what happens when two individuals have HONEST conversations with no motives whether they agree or not . . amazing isnt it ;)

LOL

Glad to help Agent J.

:2wave:

Fantasy posts like yours that are easily beat down and proven wrong usually do! Thanks again!:2wave:

1.) racist? nope, people of all races belong to the group
2.) and yet wouldnt change the OP, the classlessness of his comment nor context presented in the OP
3.) outrageous yes, jerk and racists just based on the OP is subjective NOT objective
4.) yet nothing will change the outrageous of it or change the context of the op
5.) hey look ANOTHER retared lie you just posted and made up. Can you provided and facts that support that claim and make it true? if so please do, thanks
6.) see #5
Your post fails and gets proven wrong again :)

It's also amazing that his opponent is a legitimate candidate: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uhuru_Movement. So what you have here is dumbass yelling at a racist/socialist. The good news is that when Congemi ran for mayor in 2013, he 225 votes (the winner got over 20,000). So not only is he a dumbass, but he's wildy unpopular dumbass. So while his actions were really stupid, the fact is this story is 100% pure "silly season".

Well, I've been following this specific Uhuru movement for a while now (the podcast I watch as well as a few of my favorite YouTubers cover them occasionally). They don't seem to be a very large movement at all, much too small to have any sub-groups. And they pretty much all share the same viewpoint.

Here's Gazi's YouTube channel, and Gazi is probably the most influential member of this movement. He's made a ton of outrageous videos. This is the group that the mayoral candidate Jesse Nevel is coming from, and you can even see him featured in this video here:

If you're using Chrome, highlight the text "Uhuru Movement", rt-click on the highlighted text and select "Search google for "Uhuru Movement"". That will take you to https://www.google.com/search?q=Uhu...=chrome..69i57j69i60&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 where you can find out all kinds of fun stuff about this racist/socialist org.

People are so helpful!

I knew the answer before asking the question. Just interested in the answer to it.

The answer and other responses from the OP proved my suspicions and expectations were accurate.

1.) who said he is legitimate? do you mean simply because he is running? dont know the candidate nor does it matter and in the history of politicians the people who run has never been amazing to me. Over qualified, to unqualified, they all run.
2.) Who was the racists the dumbass was yelling at?
3.) that is good but sad he eve got that many IMO (IF there was other behavior like this)
4.) yes really stupid
5.) while i can agree with you based on semantics, IMO it IS silly but based on reality I have to ask are you serious? Unfortunately its VERY typical that things like these are stories in our current circus of a media and its been that way for quit some times. A politician or potential politician making blunder like that is news in current, recent and past media climates unfortunately.

1.) to my knowledge they are in a few major cities and on large college campuses so they do have sub groups, seems you maybe following one sub group
2.) not familiar with him but the movement was around before he was born or even an adult (me too) so id say its safe to say thats a sub group and a perfect example of what I mean.
