LOL, yep, and don't forget that Republicans want to starve kids and pollute the air in addition to killing seniors. Is there ever going to be a time when actual results matter to you including the debt and inefficiency of the US Govt. when it comes to social spending? Being a progressive/liberal seems to be someone out of touch with reality and someone that thinks only with their heart. A one size fits all program doesn't take into account 50 independent states with 50 different costs of living. I am so sorry you need the taxpayers to fund your healthcare but life is about making choices and consequences for making a bad one. Is that what happened to you?

Right, exactly as there is always a connection with people like you. what do tax cuts have to do with healthcare? The govt. has created an almost 20 trillion dollar debt spending on whatever it wants whenever it wants so blaming tax cuts for loss of Medicaid funding is nothing more than typical liberalism and basic lies.

You are free to vote as you wish. But many of us believe we oew a debt to our fellow man. It is why we give to charity, volunteer AND expect our federal government to help those that need help. Your philosophy is "I got mine so screw you". You are welcome to it....but we vote too.

One more time, what do tax cuts have to do with that and why won't you answer the question? You think that if the people got to keep less of their money it would mean better care for our soldiers and more money for your Medicaid? Where do you get that idea? I find it interesting that you don't even seem to understand what you do when you get to keep more of what you earn with tax cuts? Isn't it possible that people keeping more of their own money spends it in the state and local economy thus giving those entities more to spend in the form of local tax revenue?

No, you believe that the federal taxpayers from other states owe your citizens support, What are you doing to help your fellow man through local charities? Every dollar that goes to the federal govt. is one less dollar for your state and local economy. That is a concept you simply do not understand

It resulted in massive cuts to the States and Republican Governors along with Democrats were against it. That does not compute with you.

Don't you get tired of having the left make a fool out of you, it didn't result in cuts in anything as revenue grew. Only the left believes it would have grown more without the cuts but cannot prove it. Economic growth and activity led to record revenue collection. Why is that so hard for you to understand? is it your contention that tax revenue from the Federal taxpayers should fund your personal responsibility issues? Where is that in the Constitution?

Damn that is some kind of stupid on their part. Nvere hear of a Govenror refusing free money with no strings attached.
Feds- Govs, here ya go more money. Govs to Feds- No, we (Repubs and Dems) cannot take it as we have more than enough revenue.

No.. you were not "forced into medicare".. You have/had choices.. you could still opt out of medicare. You can opt out of social security.

Heck.. you could decide to go live in another country that doesn;t have the entitlement philosophy you think is so rampant in the US... (might I suggest a couple?)

Before you get caught up in your diatribe about spending.. lets point out.. IT WAS YOUR GENERATION that got us into this debt. YOUR generation that did all the spending and your generation that STILL wants the spending to go on.. as long as its for YOU.

You don't take any responsibility for that. None.

I don't need Medicaid and probably never will. Also because of your selfishness, I likely won't get Medicare or Social security because by the time I retire.. you will have sucked up all the money and all the money that I have put in.. and it will be means tested.. and since I am in the top percentage of americans in income.. I won't get it.

And why? Because guys like you.. that wanted and demanded all the benefits of the spending.. but didn;t demand that taxes be sufficient to cover that spending.. and now want to still have low taxes.. but now cut the spending on the elderly and disabled that need it.

The poor choices that me and my generation are paying for ARE YOUR POOR CHOICES... YOUR AND YOURS ALONE!

What do you think happens when you cut Medicaid that goes to seniors and disabled people?

how absolutely absurd of you to think that they are not hurt by cuts in these vital programs.

What do you think happens to children whose parents are on welfare when you cut their welfare benefits? You actually think they get the same amount of food and support when you take away benefits? Do you believe in unicorns as well?

Please.. tell me what poor choice a 6 year old has made that they should die because they have appendicitis and no healthcare insurance coverage because you cut their Medicaid and think they should suffer the consequences of their choices.

Sure it is that's why we have over 100 million Americans dependent on the federal taxpayers for some form of assistance excluding Social Security and Medicare. You call that help?
