The delay of Rice's testimony would amount to at least the third time the panel has pushed back a scheduled witness' testimony. It also delayed hearing from Trump associate Roger Stone and former adviser J.D. Gordon. The GOP leader of the House Russia probe, Mike Conaway, said last week that the investigation is going "frustratingly slow.""We're all in this instant gratification world that we've created for ourselves and the fact that it takes response times, you get lawyers involved, back and forth organizing -- that's frustrating," Conaway said.

The top Democrat on the panel, Rep. Adam Schiff, said: "Our decisions on scheduling are made based on what's best for the investigation -- not based on what's best for any particular witness."

I bolded what I thought was the meat of the story here...Yet another witness delayed by democrats (my opinion) that would shed light poorly on democrats....This would be funny if it weren't so damned sad.

Looks more like a bit of gristle to me. Did ya miss the part where two (2) TRUMP ASSOCIATES have been delayed in a GOP LEAD committee??? :confused:

Nope, I've been asking why it was that Schiff was literally screaming for those two, then when they were scheduled, all of the sudden Schiff had scheduling problems....Democrats are so full of ****!

Come on now, you know how this works...minorities on committees have a say in scheduling. And I think Schaffer is blocking any testimony that hampers Democrat ends in this. Very dishonest

House and Senate rules show that in 'pre hearing' procedures, a quorum is taken as to how many members will be in attendance. In some cases the hearing can not proceed if that number is not achieved. Routinely, members that want to block a witness from testifying will cite some scheduling conflict so that these agreed to numbers are not present, therefore the hearing is delayed.

Please don't try and tell us that these games don't go on....

Well, either one supports upholding the law on ALL of the people or one doesn't support upholding the law on all of the people. You sound like the latter. Most liberals, and I presume that includes you, are supremely indifferent to any laws broken by Rice, Powers, Obama, Hillary, Lynch, etc.

The law will be upheld concerning Trump and his associates and flunkies and supporters, and I certainly have no trouble with investigations of the people you don't like. Oh, that's right, several have been held and nothing found.

That is rediculous. Last time I checked most liberals I know have no issues with the investigation spidering off to all elements of this mess, including Loretta and here meeting with Bill.

Trump and his supporters are the ones continuing to pressure to stop the investigation. Hell most his supporters could care less about filth named Flynn who was getting paid by foreigners while at the same time advising Trump on foreign matters.

There is a plethora of corrupt, government bureaucrats that do NOT want to see Trump "drain the swamp". They want to DESTROY Trump. Furthermore, they have ZERO care for the American people. Take the IRS, for example.
