Former President Jimmy Carter was hospitalized for dehydration in Canada Thursday while working on a project for Habitat for Humanity.

The one-term Democratic President was in Winnipeg building houses as part of a weeklong project he’s participating in with his wife, Rosalynn.

He's a good man. Like the nice old man that owns the small grocery store down the street. As a president, he was a bit over his head making him a horrible a president, but again, a good man.

In my case, I was just surprised to see Winnipeg mentioned in the same sentence with heat.

He has an engineering degree from the Naval Academy, graduating in the top 10% of the class. :roll:

My hat is off to Jimmy Carter. The greatest ex-president we have ever had.
Agree with his politics or not no ex-president has done more good in his post
presidential days. A very kind and good man. I have no doubt he will rest up
and be back out working on the house very soon.

Carter volunteered for service in The US Navy during the 1940s, and was Georgia Governor before becoming POTUS, which is IMO a much better demonstration of character than the current crap we have

President Carter teaches Sunday school class at his church.
Pretty amazing!

He also has a lot of nice sweaters from lowering the thermostats in the WH to 55 degrees, during OPEC's price gauging escapades instead of doing something about it.

I can't name one accomplishment he had in office. For Trump, I could name like 10 and he hasn't been in office for a year yet.

Trump has done more damage to the US in 6 months than Carter, Reagan, Clinton, Obama and both Bushes combined. But, that you fail to see that is no surprise to me at all.

Whatever. The economy didn't collapse under Trump. Tell me all the wars that Trump has engaged in? Has Trump sent troops to the Middle East, South America, or Africa?
