Lie 1. Plenty of reporters have access to Trump.
Oh, you mean like the Tea Party protests? But unlike those, most of the media covered them and gave them glowing praise.
All of the above happened (before this Russian investigation.)
Of course this ignores that Democrats have been sending ringers to town halls, sometimes from out of state. Meanwhile, during the protests during and after the passage of the ACA, you had people that weren't into politics before standing up and being heard.
Its not just Trump. Republicans need to get it together and decide on policy. Too many factions pulling in too many directions. The GOP caucus has never voted in lockstep the way the Dems have been able to when it counts. I'm not too much for your prognostications, no one in the liberal camp thought Trump would get elected in the first place, which is why they are absolutely losing their **** every other day.
I have no idea by what you mean by reporters?
These are not paid protestors. They are now activists against the Republican party, and they aren't going to forget to vote in 2018.
As far as pulling together--it's not going to happen. John Boehner stated in February that all the Obamcare repeal/replace rhetoric was nothing more than wildly optimistic happy talk for the campaign season, citing Republicans never agree on health care.

As this criminal Russian Investigation moves forward Senate & House Republicans will separate themselves from Trump, in an effort to win their seats.
Trump has the lowest approval rating of any President in 70 years--and Republicans will run away from that. IOW his agenda just went into the trash can.
