Tweeting early Friday morning from the Group of 20 summit in Germany, President Trump said “everyone here is talking about” how Democrats handled the hacking related to last year’s presidential election.

Podesta was not working for the DNC at the time and would have had no authority over their servers.

First of all, no they're not.

Second of all, his tweet is just.. incorrect, Trump has a haphazard understanding of reality, where he just mixes and matches varying elements of stories like a gossiping housewife.

John Podesta was not in possession of the DNC server. Two different things. Comey testified the DNC gave their server over to a company for examination. And the leading topics at the G20 Summit, led by Merkel are climate change and free trade. Something Trump opposes but, does not understand in a competent enough way to actually discuss them, and so, he reverts back to his substandard mudslinging and fantasy reality construction. Who really thinks they're all talking about Democratic disgraces? Who buys that?

Trump once again looks like an idiot. And he is saying things that are demonstrably false, betraying a poor recall of the events and likely a complete and total lie. Someone should just tell him CNN hired Rosie O'Donnell, Khizr Khan, and Barack Obama to do a 24/7 Trump Sucks Balls segment, to get him hastefully journeying, all the way home, so the adults at the G20, can discuss the topics that Trump knows nothing of, and clearly doesn't care about.

Do you somehow have some inside information over what the attendees are talking to Mr. Trump about, when they are not discussing "economic issues?"

They were either deliberately covering up illegal/morally questionable activities, or are just so used to covering their asses in general so no one find out about any of the shady things they know they've done but can't recall them all specifically to protect against


I desperately wanted that treasure too, but alas...... it may as well be sunk in a mile deep ocean for all that we can reach it.


Most everyone (who had it out for her) has come to terms with this, that she's the big one that got away. We've moved on. It's unhealthy to cling to this sort of thing.

You have touched on a relevant part of the discussion. Anyone who makes the DNC into some sort of victim by spreading lies about them, is a real jackass. There is plenty to go after Democrats for. Deflecting away from your own ignorance at the G20, by tweeting lies about the DNC, gives the DNC legitimate rebuttals, that they can use to counter the lies with accuracy. Smh.

With all that she has on her plate, if Theresa May (my Prime Minister) has gone to the G20 summit to talk about a DNC server then I am going to be fuming.

I imagine my German family think the same thing about Merkel, French friends about Macron etc etc etc.

When leaders gather, they talk about all sorts of things in polite conversation. The weather, sightseeing, personal illnesses and injuries, sport interests...oh yeah, and the issues they are there to discuss politically.

Perhaps allowing people to be people, even when they are the "leaders of the world" would help with your concerns?

They can go be people when they're not representing my country at a 2 day summit with 19 other world leaders + countless other delegates.
