A CNN story on Tuesday about an anonymous Reddit user who created a widely circulated video of President Trump wrestling the network’s logo to the ground has inspired multiple backlashes. Some criticized it as a form of blackmail. Others raised issues of journalism ethics over the network granting conditional anonymity to the user.

It was certainly a poor move on CNN's part. They are claiming that the statement is being taken out of context, that there was no threat at all. But I suppose if there's the possibility something illegal was done, it should be investigated and properly punished if discovered to be true.

But in this day and age, it's probably best not to go after kids on the internet, because they have far more free time than anyone else and it will just be worse in the long run.

Bad move CNN, this behavior is something I'd expect from Trump.
 
CNN is self destructing and Cuomo's always been as dumb as a bag of hammers.

CNN says that they did not out the as they claim a racist middle aged white man why now?


Wouldn't CNN love the opportunity to tie Trump to an actual racist?



There is a very real easy explaination why CNN, who did indeed #cnnblackmailed someone for bodyslamming thier logo....


It's a minor. if it wasn't they as in all of the media would be racing to out him. Especially if he was a "racist bigot" as that douchebag cuomo claimed.

Everything about this was stupid. Half the day yesterday on the CNN page as the leading headline was the story that CNN had identified the person who made the gif and how they did it.

So ****ing what!? It is a stupid gif. How the hell is that news? And now they are going to protect his identity in exchange for him behaving himself??? It is bad enough that Trump acts like Trump. Now CNN is going to act like Trump? The CNN webpage has been my first stop for headlines every morning for years. But they sure are going down hill.

And they are giving The Right and Trump all sorts of unnecessary fodder to discredit them. All, for no reason. Senseless.
