Without the First Amendment, we wouldn't have Alex Jones but at some point, it seems, this man will reach the point of shouting FIRE!! in a crowded location. We've already seen the clown with a gun bursting into a restaurant because he 'knew' there were child sex slaves in the basement. His delusion courtesy of Alex Jones' Pizzagate tales. Now we have a government agency seeing it a necessity to deny that there are "child sex slaves" on Mars

NASA clarifies: We don’t have child sex slaves on Mars

Humans believe a lot of outlandish things. The idea that NASA is sending children to be sex slaves on Mars might be one of the wildest.

On Thursday, a guest on InfoWars claimed that NASA had kidnapped kids and sent them to the red planet to be sex slaves.

“There are no humans on Mars. There are active rovers on Mars. There was a rumor going around last week that there weren’t. There are,” Guy Webster, a spokesperson for NASA’s Mars exploration, was forced to tell The Daily Beast. “But there are no humans.”

The insane conspiracy theory was aired on Alex Jones’ “The Alex Jones Show,” which is broadcast on 118 radio stations across the country.

I cant believe NASA even responded to such a ridiculous story. When they go on the record like that it merely encourages more fake news.

If it takes 20 years to get to mars. wouldn't the children be adults by then?
 
Man, I can only imagine how depressing a world without Alex Jones would be. The man is a godsend for comedy. It's like if Don Quixote was an actual person.

Sorry it does not take 20 years to reach Mars as even using a low energy transfer Holmann orbit it would take around a year.

Or you can get there in a little over 30 days if you use atomic rockets and synodic transfer orbits.

I guess the nuts do not used or know for that matter fairly simple physics of orbit transfers.

I can still remember playing around with Holtmann transfer orbits using a log book and a large mechanical adding machine as a teenager long before home computers exist.

I guess I am in my own way had always been a crazy and boring nerd.

It always did annoyed me that the Orion nuclear pulse rockets never was allowed beyond the small model hardware stage as we could had have large scale colonies on Mars by the 1960s.

By the way are you aware that Jerry Pournelle did an aliens invasion book that had the earth fighting back using Orion technology that they dug out from the 1960s research?

Yup, its titled Footfall, he wrote it with Larry Niven. Its one of the books I re-read for my research. Very good stuff. :cool:

I once ask Jerry if he had Niven chain to an old 286 computer in his basement but he wrote back that he had provide the most modern computers for Niven basement prison.
