Kushner told 'Morning Joe' hosts to apologize to Trump or tabloid story would run: re

Re: Kushner told 'Morning Joe' hosts to apologize to Trump or tabloid story would run

Well...personally, I was kinda hoping he'd burn the old house down. So we can build a new one.

Because, honestly, there is not a single day that goes by without some serious scandal, in one state or another. And all of that bleeds out through DC. If our forefathers were alive today....they'd have the lot of them (Trump included) hanged,
I'm all for "burning the whole house down" in concept, but that doesn't mean just anything.

One can claim, legitimately, that he has indeed "drained the swamp", but in this case all he then did is restocked the swamp.

Exactly, and the swamp creatures he's restocked it with are politically savvy. I kinda want unpolitically savvy swamp things.

I have seen a great deal of smarts and wisdom in some of President Trump's tweets and I imagine he is the same if he texts. He is brilliant in how he can play the media like a fiddle and get them to over react and screw up. As for his more over the top tweets--especially the more cringeworthy ones--he is hitting back at those who unjustly, unfairly, and dishonestly hit him. I've never seen him go after ANYBODY who didn't do something just as offensive, usually more offensive, first.

He is who he is. He is neither Republican nor Democrat nor Ideologue nor member of the permanent political class. He isn't going to do things the way we have come to expect of the poll tested, scripted, proper politicians that we usually elect to high office.

What did the Morning Joe hosts do that was offensive?

In his own stinking image.

I haven't been following Sanders. I haven't caught Spicer in any lies. He sometimes doesn't know the answer and no doubt has had to correct his answer a time or two, but no lies.

Any Press Secretary I've seen, regardless of party, has told a few whoppers. If Spicer hasn't, he'd be the very first not to have done so. The problem with the administration is the inability to stay on one consistent message.

They accused him of blackmail without proof and now they are claiming he is mentally unfit. I would be offended by either of those remarks

They have modified positions as circumstances arise but I dont view that as inconsistent. Thats a trait of being pragmatic toward accomplishing as much of your goals as your opposition will allow.

There have been times when Trump has contradicted his own people. Something isn't working right.

I'm not a fan of either Joe or Mika but they have more credibility than that bunch in the WH.

Those weren't contradictions. Those were, ummm...

stratagies change but I have not seen him do anything that has contradicted the things he says he wants to accomplish. He may have communication issues within his staff, I dont know.

I can believe anybody who puts in hours and hours of time before a microphone is capable of misspeaking or remembering wrong or just getting something wrong now and then, most especially when most of it is extemporaneous. That syndrome isn't limited to press secretaries but ANYBODY who is frequently in the public eye.

I certainly have not listened to all of Spicer's briefings but I have not caught him in what I thought or suspected was a lie.

His very first briefing about Trumos crowd sizes was a pretty big lie.

Yah know in countries like North Korea people have to be threatened with labour camps to say stuff like this about their idiot leaders.

And you do it for free and of your own volition.

Says something about you mate.

It says that I have opinions that don't involve assigned talking points, the hate speech of the week, and personal insults. Have a great day.
