Despite tweet, McCaskill attended reception at Russian ambassador's home

OMG, she attended a black tie function at an ambassador's home!!!! Yikes, such a horrible crime! A member of Congress attending a function at an ambassador's home.

She's clearly colluding with them to throw down the west.

That's so funny. Why would you keep the record at all if the purpose of the record was not to confirm, deny or track one's whereabouts?

Ok. Have you ever met a person on center street ne'er Chicago?

Say she does keep a record. Is she supposed to spend a month pouring back over to answer a question like "did you ever meet a Russian ambasoder?"

Posting from the Fake News Network, how impressive.

This is why when you just respond to things by attacking the source, indicating that somehow the very use of the source indicates a post is illegitimate, you open yourself up for problems, because then it's not hard to turn that right around when you go and use the source yourself.

My preferred solution -

Both McConnell and Schumer admonish Senator McCaskill. Let her face the wrath of voters if she seeks reelection.

Sessions, in a step toward healing our Great Partisan Divide, steps down as A.G.. Rosenstein serves as Acting A.G. until the Senate confirms an acceptable replacement nominated by soon-to-be President Pence.

Sessions had nothing to do with our great partisan divide and his stepping down ( a Democrat wet dream ) would only make it worse.

If Trump and his supporters have to capitulate to the Lefts demands and agenda to undermine a duly elected President and his agenda to heal the partisan divide then screw it.

Well, that's a good point. Yet the Russian Ambassador is enough of a high-ranking official that I would question her REALLY not remembering.

Edit...just looked it up. It was a year-and-a-half ago.

Oh please Fenton! Your Partisan posts reveal you live in a World of Fantasy replete with Wet Dream consequences. No one escapes their Karma. Remind us of which DEM Senators confirmed Sessions nomination, and I can tell you why.

IRL, controversy has dogged Sessions throughout his political career. Alabama has a reputation for breeding Segregationists who go on to have political success.

Well, to be honest, I can't comment either way, I have no idea how many of these sorts of things someone like her does. It's like asking an event organizer if they met Ron White. Maybe they did, before he got big.

I don't. I could go either way. I lack the proper information.

Another Senator forgetting meeting with the Russian Ambassador? First Sessions, now McCaskill. This dude must be really forgettable. Probably half the Senate has forgotten they have met with him in one form or another.

Hell, I've probably met with him, but I don't remember.

Come clean. That meeting was the one where you passed him missile launch codes for a couple of silos in South Dakota. You wrote them on a Triscuit and covered them up with a sardine. He memorized them and then ate the evidence. Pretty diabolical, if you ask me.

MY partsan post ? Lol !!!

Democrats and their supporters have been throwing a epic 6 months long temper tantrum because their candidate lost a election fair and square.

They do NOT get to decide whats needed to heal our partisan divide.

They dont have the credibillity, objectivity or integrity to tell anyone, let alone the GOP what needs to be done to bring people of different Political views closer together.

Good morning, MaggieD. :2wave:

Well said! Since I think that having dinner at the Russian Ambassador's house isn't something that happens very often, it's possible, but not probable, that she didn't remember. It's probably only because it was a Russian Ambassador that it's in the news now anyway, so she's attempting to make it sound like it was not notable enough to remember? Sorry, but I don't believe her, FWIW.

Good one! :lamo

I'm not sure when meeting with the Russian ambassador to our country became a crime, but I believe it started with Trump. Kislyak seems to have met nearly everybody but me, and he also seems to be the only Russian around. After all, what's a Russian conspiracy theory without a Russian in it somewhere.

Not so fast. If a leftwing biased network goes to the trouble to report one of their own, it's telling.

Personally I suspect it is because they do these things so often that they actually do not remember, and in many cases really do not know they have actually interacted with such a person.

Yeah, let's go with that...

"I don't remember attending a black tie event at a Russian ambassador's house."

Apparently she doesn't remember these tweets about meeting with the Russian ambassador either.

Off to meeting w/Russian Ambassador. Upset about the arbitrary/cruel decision to end all US adoptions, even those in process.
9:25 AM - 30 Jan 2013

Today calls with British, Russian, and German Ambassadors re: Iran deal. #doingmyhomework

CNN is fake news unless they produce an article that is anti Democrat.

Childish hypocrisy at its finest. Nice job.

Like I said, when even the groupies are appalled at your action, quite telling.

Before Trump's Inauguration, Trump, Gowdy, Chaffetz, none of these three for years could get enough of the spotlight demeaning and demonizing all things DEM. Now that the GOP reigns supreme in the White House and both sides of Congress, Chaffetz has quit the Clown Train to join Fox News. Gowdy has become a shadow of his former self and Trump goes around everyday looking pissed off and constipated.

If you consider the last six months an epic long temper tantrum by Leftist, then you might want to bunker down.

The Resistance continues to grow in numbers, resolve and means. You have had to take refuge in an Alternate World with Alternative Facts to continue your illusion of winning. I hear you whining. All grins!

Not so fast. If a leftwing biased network goes to the trouble to report one of their own, it's telling.

If they were such a biased network that it would be reasonable to decry anything they write negative about Republicans as "fake news" and immediately dismiss it based on that notion alone, then they wouldn't report anything about "their own". What's "telling" is the fact that you felt the need to use them as a source, and were able to use them as a source, indicates that they are not so biased in their reporting that just screaming "FAKE NEWS NETWORK" as some kind of counter argument anytime they report something negative about Republicans is a poor and flawed argument.

Ambassadors. Not their actual names.

It is not normal for folks to remember everyone they meet unless that person has meaning to the person remembering.

You may have met someone very popular in your life, and you would remember that meeting, but that person is not likely to remember you.
While there are exceptions to the rule, that is the way it usually plays out.

So unless it was a repeated occurrence with the same person, no.

You're kidding. A lying politician?

Quite common, but we have a partisan witch hunt going on that's promoted by hypocrites like McCaskill.
