Disability advocates arrested during health care protest at McConnell’s office

Cuz Jesus never got angry and kicked people out of the temple....nah. Never happened. :)

You mean the Usurers, merchants, and money lenders taking advantage of his people while under the guise of true believers helping to guide them?

Maybe not the best example for you to use defending Mitch McConnell. He did just write a secret bill taking healthcare away from poor people, at the behest of insurance and investment companies. And he campaigns as a pious religious man guided by god. yada yada.

Erm --- Jesus would be analogous to the police, in this instance. Mitch McConnell didn't throw everyone out.

And it's against the law.

That is what civil disobedience is.... its democracy in action. It isn't always pretty, but it should be peaceful. It is a very important tool in the arsenal of patriots to bring awareness to injustice.

If you are an American, you should understand and respect it, even if you don't agree with the cause.

You can't block entrances or block people from leaving.

You used to be able to.

Maybe you're not hold enough to remember when the black panthers and other activist groups blocked entrances, while armed. The city responded by shutting down the government building for the day, during the protest.

What's the point of protesting if you don't inconvenience anybody?

No it's not.
You can say what you want, just as long as you aren't blocking people and stopping the normal course of business.

You have to mind your words in court to.
It's otherwise called behaving reasonably.

Protestors used to be able to shut down government buildings by blocking entry, especially during the popular protest era of the 60's and 70's.

Now you need permits to protest and you'll be arrested and jackbooted if you deviate from the planned march.

The First Amendment is toothless if you can't stop the cogs of government from turning for even a few hours.

They can also walk in on him taking a ****, as long as they're protesting. :doh

In a public restroom, of a public building? They sure can...

If a Jehovah's Witness can try and convert me in Walmart bathroom, they can talk to Mitch McConnell while he's dropping a deuce at work.

This is stupid and isn't helpful at all.

Pointing out how out of touch liberals are is always helpful. These liberals cannot wrap their minds around the notion of a schedule being kept or setting an appointment. They're used to just visiting their unemployed liberal compatriots any time of day and being granted an audience. They cannot understand why a Republican senator can't have an impromptu meeting.

That's how liberals work and it's always good to help someone get into the liberal mindset.

The Los Angeles Times reported that leading patient advocacy organizations sent a letter to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell last week asking for a meeting, only to be rejected over scheduling concerns.

“A representative from McConnell’s office told them staff schedules were too busy, according to representatives of several of the organizations,” the Times reported.
Thanks for making my point for me.
