House intelligence committee sources say career officials at the National Security Council are slow-walking the delivery of subpoenaed records on former National Security Adviser Susan E. Rice’s handling of classified information and the “unmasking” of Trump campaign workers — material from the Russian hacking probe that middle-level NSC managers claim was transferred to President Obama’s library and could “remain closed to the public for five years.”

I'm glad the Obama administration was so transparent. Nothing to hide? Sure. What a bunch of lying criminals.
 
Can records such as these be subpoenaed?
 
Interesting part of this little tale is that only four subpoenas were issued by the House Intelligence Committee, now led by Vice Chairman Mike Conaway and Ranking Member Adam Schiff. The three subpoenas regarding the "unmasking" of individuals, came from Chairman Devin Nunes who has supposedly recused himself from the investigations, without informing the committee. This small matter has caused some of the delay inasmuch there is an ongoing argument as to the validity of the subpoenas.
 
Ms. Rice has shown time and again that she is a habitual liar. But then the Marxist she worked for is also a damned liar, and so is the Marxist who served as his Secretary or State, and so are both his Attorneys General. The fact that self-serving liars like Obama, Clinton, Holder, Lynch, Rice, et al. were ever able to attain such high offices is a sign of how far this country has fallen.

There's transparency...and then there's politicizing classified information. I suspect the later is the reason for archiving Rice's records as evidenced by Nunes searching through classified information to use against the previous administration for Trump's political agenda.

Just as baseball teams have a Designated Hitter, she was Obama's "Designated Liar". Willing to get out there, even when Hillary refused, and say anything at all, no matter how far from the truth. And, of course, rewarded for lying to us all the way.

That's a bit off. Looks like laws were broken by the Obama administration for political gain. Spin it all you want, it doesn't excuse what they did.

One of the things which may not be said in modern America--at least among better people--is that certain persons enjoy undeserved privileges simply because they are female and members of a racial minority. Because I don't want to offend these better people, I would never suggest that Ms. Rice reached the heights she reached for any reason other than sheer ability. At the same time, I am sure quite a few Americans don't think much of her.

leading contenders for the 2020 DEM nomination are women with racial minority status:

1) 75 E.Warren wins Presidential Election +825
2) 77 M.Obama wins Presidential Election +1700
3) 81 B.Sanders wins Presidential Election +1700
4) 83 Cory Booker wins Presidential Election +2500
5) 93 Kamala Harris wins Presidential Election +3000

I can see a catfight coming, can't wait for the debates

As a rule I never put people on ignore, never have. I do my best to respond to everyone but admittingly miss quite some along the way.

That said this thread isnt about Devin Nunez, its about the typcical obstruction that was prevalent under the Obama administration continuing on under Trump.

Susan Rice is corrupt, a established liar, and should be held to account

It's pretty comical actually. The leading candidates are leading candidates because of their gender, race, or mindless promises of social programs that would bankrupt the nation.

Somehow...that's perceived as better than a reality show real estate mogul.

This a rather bizarre defence as the topic is specifically about the supposed "subpoenas" calling for the release of various documents. The problem lies in the fact that it was not the House Intelligence Committee which issued the subpoenas but was the 'recused' Chairman Devin Nunes. As I pointed out, there is a question as to the legality of the Nunes subpoenas.

"typical obstruction" by Obama's administration is dwarfed by that we are seeing coming from the Trump White House.

Oh, you left out the "Top Dem" part of the headline. As in Top Dem: Nunes violating Russia recusal with subpoenas Why is that?

So it's really just a Democrat accusing him of not honoring the voluntary recusal, not a factual headline. And it's just about Schiff thinking that Conaway should have signed it instead of Nunes.

Oh, and Nunes never recused himself at all. Wow, huge story there! I think you covered every part of that story, there's nothing left that you weren't misleading about. That's as leftist as it gets. 100% for you!
