Trump: I didn't record secret tapes of James Comey

It is the answer. You just don't like it because it blows the right wing talking point to smithereens.

In your analogy what makes it the second inning? I mean other than that you don't want it to end yet because you aren't satisfied with the outcome yet?

Your analogy is an interesting view into a truther/birther/colluder mentality. It feels a lot like watching a toddler play a board game. They want to extend the game indefinitely, change the rules and throw fits because it isn't going their way. For those trapped in that kind of thinking there can be no conclusion until their assumptions have been confirmed and they feel vindicated.

This investigation will never be over for you.

In reality, there IS an ONGOING investigation. Mueller has been ramping it up by hiring some very high profile prosecutors. The "game" in the analogy is clearly not close to over. It's unclear what the hell you're talking about because there is no outcome to be satisfied or unsatisfied about.

Reading your comment out of context, you'd think that Mueller was still a private lawyer, or had issued his report exonerating Trump and his staff. In REALITY, Mueller's investigation is just getting started. It's a really bizarre comment from you. Maybe you're suggesting that "second inning" isn't really correct, more like the 4th inning? Or 6th?

This investigation will never be over for you.

The investigation is objectively not over for anyone, most especially several people close to Trump who hired some high powered defense attorneys in the last couple weeks.

So you aren't actually providing evidence, just rationalizations based on rationalizations you read in the tabloids. I figured as much.

Yawn. Your desperation and pathological denial duly noted.
The FISA court shot down the investigation of Trump, and approved the investigation of Carter, but the evidence provided to the court was the long debunked bit of nuttery known as "the Russian dossier" that was paid for by political opponents to Trump and was so fraugh with errors that major news agencies wouldn't run it.

Yet more fantasy land nonsense. Next.
You are living a lie. You are the next itteration of Truthers and birthers.

This is going to be a very tough year for Trump worshipers.

Enjoy your magical thinking while you can.

Pretty ironic bit of projection there. You and the #resistence are the ones stamping your feet because, for all the promise born of negligent reporting, nothing is coming of this absurd investigation. If anything we have learned exactly how pitiful Obama was in the face of what he believed to be Russian interference.

It's OK that you're frightened about all of this, but projection will get you nowhere.
It is absolutely true and one of the few things the named officials agree on.

Newp. Utterly and completely unhinged balthering not based in reality, nor can you demonstrate otherwise.

This grows boring.

Based on many news accounts that these investigations could well last another year or two and Mueller is just getting started.

You want to make it the third inning... or top of the fourth - the principle is the same.

Let's see if I have this correct, Obama knew about the Russian Hacking before the election and Democrats condoned it but AFTER the election that Trump won, Trump is now guilty of obstruction of justice and collusion with the Russians? Interesting the affects a PRIVATE citizen at the time, Trump, had on the election whereas the sitting President had none?? Liberal logic and double standards? Anyone believe this would be an issue today had Hillary won?

Goldman Sachs would be running your white house either way, same as it ever was. Don probably at this point doesn't know whether he recorded Comey or not.

Obama knew about the Russian hacking. He didn't deny it like Trump did. While I too think he should have taken stronger action, at least he didn't deny the facts and demean the FBI and CIA for bringing up the Russian involvement. Trump denied Russian involvement and has expressed little interest in protecting the integrity of our elections even though they are a basic principle of the constitution he has sworn to protect. When he could no longer deny the fact of the Russian hacking because it was overwhelmingly accepted by everyone else, he said it was all Obama's fault.
